Galaxy S3 Cashback - will these deals last?

Hi

Im about to upgrade on TMobile and from web chatter seem to think that the best deal I can hope for is about the same as I can get from the Carphone Warehouse

The hassle of this involving a double port is worth it to me for an unbranded and unlocked phone

Im late to the cashback game but have just noticed that Topcashback are offering £80 on the S3 at CW, whilst Quidco will give £60 on any new contracts

These deals seem pretty good on a £26 monthly TMobile contract and Im tempted to just go for it now however I have minimal experience of cashback sites so would be grateful for some opinion

Is it currently a quiet time so they are offering good cashback which I should grab, or when Im officially out out of contract in 5 weeks do you think I would be able to find similar on a trendy new phone?

Many thanks

:)

PS Any reason to favour either of these cashback players, if ones more (or less) reliable that would be good to know too

Topcashback is far more reliable and genuine than Quidco. What cashback deals are available at any time is unpredictable. Your deal seems extremely expensive to me - but since all my deals are free any high-end phone is always likely to be expensive as far as I'm concerned!

    Isn't mobiles.co.uk cheaper?
  • Gadgets like this will only get cheaper

If you have 5 weeks, wait 5 weeks.

Shortly after the S2 was released I picked one up for £20/mo @ Tesco with no upfront fee.

I can't understand the point of your post?
Apart from going on about how you have got it free you have not helped op at all.

The op is planning to have S3 at £26 a month with £80 cashback.

If you think the deal is extremely expensive why not show where to get one cheaper?

It seem you are just showing off.

This. I've never totally understood the need to pay way over the odds for the absolute newest phone on the market when everybody knows it will get much cheaper literally within weeks of its launch....

Yes, I understand that but its only really in the last week or so that the S3 has dropped from over 30 to £26 on contract and the £80 cashback seems a nice cherry on the top too :)

    topcash avoid quidco
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

Currently 11 months into an 18 month contact with the Galaxy S2 paying £26 a month. Phoned up to get an exit fee and was quoted £152. Checked the mobile valuer and S2 is currently worth £201!

So ordered the S3 from mobiles.co.uk on £26 a month contract. Also offering 5 months 1/2 price line rental via redemption taking the cost down to £23.50 over the 24 months.

So im £50 up and got the latest S3 on exactly the same tariff but with the potential redemption plus £30 quidco.

Have to say I've never much luck with topcashback tracking but very little problem with Quidco.

I've also been looking at S3 contracts for my OH and am currrently considering one of the £26 T-mobile contracts via mobiles.co.uk same as above.
