Op, if you don't already do so, you can cut down on cleaning products.
I use an old spray bottle and use distilled (white) vinegar, star drops and water.
I clean bathroom and kitchen with that.
Decant value disinfectant into an old spray bottle as well, makes that go further.
Dreadful about the job. X

Dove has a useful guide to how much yeast depending on which variety you have: Yeast and raising agents
Is it strong wholemeal (better for bread) or plain? Wholemeal normally needs a little help - Felicity Cloake has a useful article about it: How to bake wholemeal bread
You may need more water if it's wholemeal than for the recipe if it was written for white strong (although less if it's plain than if it's strong). tbh, if it's your first time and it isn't strong wholemeal flour, I'd wait until you had a suitable flour.August grocery challenge: £8.65/£300

So we’re empty nesters.

Hi everyone if anyone has a copy then I would be pleased if they can pass it on, as I am knee deep in emails:eek: Its just something that I have put together by trial and error, via some of the smashing folk on here, and some of my own recipes The recipes in purple coloured print was from our lovely late Money Saving Diva who is sadly no longer with us

Most of the meals I have either tried myself or my lovely DDs have tried and they all work beautifully.Its about 70 odd pages long and its just been copy and pasted into my ordinary Microsoft Word I'm sure there is a way of sending it to everyone but being slightly technophobic I have been sending it a copy at a time (thats the worst of being an old dear) its always trial and error when it comes to my computer I daresay one of my smaller grandkids could just got click click there you go Granny and everyone would have a copy:)
