flutterby have a good night can tell you have been looking forward to the football :D

Morning all. OH is generally being a !!!!!!! so plans for today are off, I guess I should make the most of the nice weather solo. I actually played the lottery last night and I feel really silly for wasting £2 :o
Think of all the things I could have done with £2! Got odds and sods of tidying and work to do today. Organising my store cupboard/draws and updating the inventory is number one on the list.
Dinner will either be ys chicken, ys veggies and coupon wedges or ys soup, depending on whether oh is eating or it's just me.

Morning everyone well I stayed up and watched it through to the end and did enjoy it.I'm not too sure if folk from other lands will understand all of it but I liked it and as its our tax payers cash thats paying for it then I am happy with it.Macca was not so good at the end ,I found it a bit embarrassing to be honest but hey ho he was a beatle so representative of our country and culture .Wasn't too sure about the funky pidgeons on bikes i found that a bit too odd but loved Pink Flord my favorite ever group. The Queens bit was a hoot as shows she has a sense of humour at least.
I have just put a white wash on towels and fitted sheet etc and am just going to be pottering about today not going out as its still quite humid and I have no shopping to buy anyway .I turned the left over chicken into four portions of curry for the freezer last night and have some spuds to peel and mash for the freezer today. If I do several pounds of them, once mashed and frozen its handy to get out just a small amount when I need it to zap in the m'wave.
Apart from that not a lot going on today.May do some baking for the boys later if its not too hot
    Have a great day everyone
    Cheers JackieO xxx

    Morning all
I really enjoyed the opening ceremony too - I had been dreading it would be really lame, but I loved that they made it fun and funny!
Going to turf the kids out of bed now and get them to clean their pets out. I need to tidy the house, put a wash on and paint walls in the loo.
DH was all stressy and tired yesterday so I'm treating him to lunch when he finishes work today - I'd better get a move on with my chores.
Have a lovely day all x

Really struggling today. Feeling beyond rock bottom. I don't have the will to live which I am ashamed of admitting being almost 30 weeks pregnant. Feel so alone. Midwife and pysch know how I feel but aren't helping at all. Pregnancy hormones I'm told. All very well til I do something stupid.

Don't have anyone to turn to in RL. Hubby is lost in his own depression and my only friend is going through a miscarriage. My life is one sorry state at the moment. Sorry to be so miserable but don't know where else to turn :(

Made dd and BF sausage or bacon sarnie with tea or coffee before they set out for morning. Made another dd a bacon sarnie with tea.

Then another dd has just had a sausage sarnie and tea. Fourth dd is making her own sarnie!!!!

Washing machine is on and dishwasher is unloaded. Having a few minutes peace and quiet before most of us head off to seaside later. DH is refusing to be extracted from garden and potting shed so he can do whatever he likes. Food in fridge so he won't starve.

    Good morning nmlc and all,

another nice sunny day and ive got all hubbies work clothes on the rotary. Pity he couldnt have stayed at work really as he came back moaning and he woke up moaning.

Need to go shopping sometime today but he's already had one dig at me so i'll leave him asleep in bed (and then he'll moan he hasnt got done what he wanted to today). He usually takes over the greenhouse duties and cleaning up after the dogs on weekends but ive done it already or we will never get out the door and the bank shuts at 3.

I was in a good mood.

Hope you all have a good Saturday and hoping my day gets better as time goes on.

Did a duplicate post and just saw how you are feeling.

Wish we could do something practical to help. Would a phone call to Mind or samaritans be worth considering?

Midwife etc need telling it is not just hormones. There must be some sort of emergency team or something. I want to shake them for not picking up on how bad you are feeling.
