OP have you ever been tested for a learning difficulty? I only suggest this because I have one and make similar mistakes to the ones in your post, and also have trouble spotting them. If this maybe the issue, you might want to do a bit of research into ways of compensating.Save £200 a month : [STRIKE]Oct[/STRIKE] Nov Dec Jan Feb Mar Apr0

Give us a list of the errors you are making.0

I was trying to find out what sort of mistakes you were making.
If you have admitted to mistakes, you must know what sort(s) of mistakes you are making, at least one kind. Have you perhaps improved on one but not others?
So what is the issue they are concerned about? Is it typing in incorrect prices or quantities? Is it missing out important terms to an offer? Is it not referencing the document in accordance with a protocol?
Though you say you want to leave, it would be good to try to establish what they don't like and get it right before you move on.0 -

I thought you said that your managers had not reported any errors to you?Sugarbee1984 wrote: »During the meeting it was brought up that my accuracy had not improved at all and I was asked for my reply. I explained that I thought it had as I had no errors reported by either of my managers to myself. My manager explained that it had not improved in one area and i explained that if I had not been told how could I improve??? to this he agreed and ended the meeting.
Ah yes - you did say that!
So if your managers were not telling you about the errors you were making, then who were all the e-mails telling you about the errors you were making from?0 -
The emails are a recent thing since my meeting on the 19th July.0

Slightly more confused now then before.
The company is a small family run one and I do believe they are wanting to dismiss me. I have felt for some time that this was coming. While I was on holiday I came back to find out that I had to move office in to one on my own then a couple of weeks later my job role was altered over night with out me knowing or it being discussed with me.
I do not have a verbal warning that I am aware of and as it states in our company handbook a written warning is issued after a verbal warning. Back in June was an informal meeting to discuss my work accuracy.
I do hold my hands up to the mistake and silly ones at that. But I keep getting emails stating the inaccuracy I make and that I have to reach 95% accuracy in to weeks. I have asked for someone to sit with me as I type to help me see where I go wrong. I always double check my work but do not seem to pick these mistakes up. I feel utterly useless when I receive emails telling me all the mistakes I've made and I have no idea how to stop them from happening
I have a 2 month notice period and just want out now with out any come back.
You know the score. Small family run business in difficulty, with cuts in personnel, needed to stay afloat. With less than a year under your belt they could do what they like in regards to your continued employment with them. Which makes me wonder why they're going through the pretence of performance reviews and what not.
Afterall in total you have been with this company for 10 months. Prior to that you worked for this company through an agency. If you were incompetent why hadn't they spotted that sooner? Why employ you directly from the agency?
The company is downsizing, but the family who own the business are too proud to announce the fact, hence the need to go through the charade of performance reviews and disciplining hearings.
I know jobs are hard to come by in this economy but for the sake of your confidence and self esteem leave this job and sign on while looking for work.
Last november I was sacked from my job because it was convenient for my employers to do so. I know the anger and frustration you must be feeling. If you don't want to leave just yet, call ACAS on 08457 47 47 47. They will either give you advice or assign you a mediator who will raise your concerns with your employer.
Good luck and try to ignore some of the chuckle heads on this thread.0 -

I'm not sure about this but isn't there a waiting time before signing on if you quit your job?Save £200 a month : [STRIKE]Oct[/STRIKE] Nov Dec Jan Feb Mar Apr0
