Contact your ISP, eventually they'll tell you to contact BT to do a line test. I went through this with Orange for a week, BT said no fault on the line, then did a check on the server and my download speed went from 0.2 meg to 5.5 meg. Be persistent.0

That's ok if your line was capable of 5 meg to start with...unfortunately the OP's line in this case just is too long
ankspon, you need to call your ISP to see IF your line is capable of more speed - like I said earlier, the MAX you could get based on your attenuation is around 2 meg, but it really depends on what your ACTUAL d/s attenuation is, as it may be a lot more than 62dB. Ask them for the figure in dB of what they are reading it at.......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
