i wanted to scrap my automatic car and was offered £170 if i take it to the place
my battery is dead and i was going to jump start it but because battery is dead the car is in parking and locked in place..i can,t get the wheels to move.
so i cannot get it close enough to other car to do a jumpstart..
does anyone know if i can get car to move in any way ..thanks

the battery won,t charge up, i would need to buy a new one and car is on driveway and there is no room to get it on..0

Most cars have an autolock override switch. On most Japanese or Korean cars there is normally a visible flap/cover next to the gear lever into which you insert the ignition key or flat blade screwdriver. You can then push the gear lever to N. On European cars the autolock is normally hidden under the gaiter, and if you are scrapping the car then just rip it apart anyway to get to it.The man without a signature.0

What car is it?
Ford for example have a wee button you can press to make the car shift to neutral. At least our old Mondeo did.

Buy a new battery. Fit it. Start car. Drive to scrappie. Swap battieres. Take new battery back for refund.0

Lol. Well it is a money saving site afterall.
But I'd put a trickle charge on the car over night. once you get SOME charge going in, put the cars side lights on. This little trick often works and getst he battery to take more charge.0
