Sorry to resurrect my thread, but this has happened again and the above Google chrome link is not working
. Yesterday I noticed all my bookmarks were missing and I seem to have the same problem with editing my signature since yesterday.
I would be grateful if anyone can help me restore my signature back to normal as when I go into to it everything is in brackets i.e. [everything] [looks] [like] [this]???
I have gone on the Google Chrome Extension webpage but I have no idea what I am searching for the make the text look like normal again.0 -
Yes, that Chrome extension seems to have been deleted.
I think your only choice is to use another browser such as Firefox that supports the enhanced editor on here?Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Well, as said you can use Firefox instead if that is available to you.
Or you can just use that raw code to make minor edits to your signature.
The code with brackets is just the formatting code that the enhanced editor produces for you but that you don't see.
It's fairly simple.

Hi
Apologies for resurrecting my thread, but does anyone know the name of the Google Chrome Extension that I need to download to stop the info in my signature [looking] [like] [this] [?]
I have tried to get used to it, but just can't! Also when I reply to a thread, quoting the post, it also shows up all in brackets.
I am not very techie and have no idea what words to use on the Chrome Extension site to do a search. The extension seems to have disappeared from my computer and I have no idea how to get it back.0 -

It does that for quotes in the reply box anyway, even with the full WYSIWYG editor working in Firefox.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
