Wow this will be quick...lot to do and 8 mins left on library pc.

Have failed sign language exam along with just about everyone sitting it in this county. Impressive eh. With a score of 2 (I normally get 20!). Still impressed?

    I've looked at the money.
I have enough to go and see Leonard Cohen in concert in Birmingham next weekend. I don't have enough to do this and also go and see peeps in Scotland. :( Sorry folks. Hopefully I will sort agent and house and will be up sometime soonish.

The deciding factor is Leonard Cohen is old. JJ Cale died last week. I'm planning on you lot still being alive for the forseeable future - if you'd be so kind :D.

We have moved offices and were in the pub yesterday where I was complaining about the schitzophrenic messages at work. When I tried to change subject my boss wouldn't let me and asked what I meant. I said, I feel respected by you and N and I feel like I am doing an important and respected job but that isn't reflected in my pay packet.

She's told me there's changes afoot (but they always say that!)

Right better pop off before I'm cut off!

    Life eh...who invented it.

Well living this close to the margin is interesting, to quote Nick Knowles 'More worrying than interesting'.

Last week things were looking okay. Maybe I should have left my teeth until after pay day :D. Maybe I shouldn't be going to see Leonard Cohen tomorrow. Going to Birmingham for a conference didn't help either. MOAN MOAN WINGE WINGE......Probably I need to get the necessary money out of the bank tomorrow, or even today.

Next week things are looking worse than challenging. I do have enough food. Shopped today on my Morrison's gift card - gift card of £10, spend £10.20. Not bad.
'Nice' chat will be had with the bank on Monday :eek:
Probably day off on Thursday, not because I specifically want a day off on Thursday but more possibly because I won't be able to afford to get into work the day before pay day. :rotfl: Shouldn't laugh but there is some bloody irony in that.

Money management - still not great, could do better.
Must spend the rest of today pulling outstanding money in. :T

Next month looks much better. The mortgage payments go down to £290 a month. The agent gets kicked into touch. Sometimes I seem to pile procrastination on procrastination.

I'm sure having a go at the agent will cheer me up a bit.

So...today....my little enforced day of leisure...what shall we do?

Well in celebration of that great man :money: Yes that one...the one with the spinning head I thought I would look at claiming some money back, specifically those forms and things I have not filled in because I am so so good at procrastination

    so we have a wee list;
    • My brother's contribution to Leonard Cohen £20
    • Camra claim for a nights accommodation £20
    • Dental claim from employer £49
    • Rail fare from Friday seminar £19
    • Tax back £60
    • PPI (£300) yes I still haven't claimed it  but I do have the forms and evidence of it existing :D
I am in the library this morning looking at which estate agent to approach for being a dual agent. Had a go at my agent yesterday and as predicted (in very good sticky under buying and selling property section) when I threatened to sack him he suggested that I go dual agency. So have looked at who has good descriptions, no typo's and accurately priced property and am going to mystery shop and ask for details this afternoon. See what their manner is like and what their service is like.

According to the press we are in the middle of a property boom, even the North East :rotfl:, not sure I believe that or if it is simply the view from fleet street.

Right had better go. Forms to fill in :D

    love to all

...don't know if I'm going or leaving home' or alternatively '2 crysanthemums on my wagon and I'm just rolling along'.*

Yes it's that time again...retrning to a shell of a hoose to clean it and cut the grass. Fortunately it is supposed to be dry tomorrow (hard to believe at the mo!)

...so (wish me luck) I shall be digging uo a Buddlea next to a path putting it in the far corner of the garden and replacing it with a couple of crysanthemums.

2 cups of coffee to keep me awake for the drive home has worked...possibly too well!

Oh well...should sleep well tomorrow night...like a brick...a brick that has moved a buddlea!

So how are we doing? (This is a rhetorical question but feel free to answer if you like talking to your computer!) It wouldn't surprise me if some of you did...I sense some of my friends are a bit strange...but maybe they just act that way to make me feel better! :D

Well another slightly strange week but really nothing to how next week looks. Seriously. If I submitted what is happening at work as a script for the office they would say it was FAR FAR too far fetched...so far fetched you couldn't even see the point you fetched it from...or not.

This week I had my first level 2 sign language class. I was starting to mutter about whether it was even worth it after a score of 2 out of 40 in the last exam. Have found out five classes failed in their entirety. No charge for the resits....I don't think they'd dare...somebody (yes, okay probably me!) would go to the press.

Our new teacher :A Bless her she is one of these. Wrote down the five subject areas give or take a word or two and got us to write a scipt to one or two. She then went through it with a fine toothcomb. I have a further two to do and then I have to Practice...Practice...Practice. This is the mantra in the sign language class. I have two scripts to rewrite tonight but am feeling a lot more confident.

I am also fingerspelling everything as I walk down the street which does make me look like I have escaped from Broadmoor.

Also this week I used the NHS. I really thing the NHS is brilliant. I call into minor surgery at one of the three gps practice where they inject me with anaesthetic 5 times :eek: . That bit was not very nice. Then take out an infected cyst and put three stitches in. Sleep hasn't been great but at least it has gone and isn't bothering me anymore.

Immediatly after that I went shopping!!! for a TV. Have replaced our monster TV with another monster TV. £35. Asked the guys in the house if they could come and help me collect the TV. One hasn't answered, the other one said he was working and then going to his girlfriends. Neither have paid me for it. Also neither of them appear to have cleaned so I am a little bit :mad: with them.

However revenge is a dish best served cold and with maximum inconvenience. Went to collect the TV from the charity shop today. The men in the shop put it in the car. Got back to the house and asked my neighbours to help put it in the kitchen/lounge. Thought about putting it on the sofa so as to inconvenience and require someone to pull their finger out. But instead asked the neighbours to put it on the worktop. It takes up virtually the entire work surface so now nobody can prepare food until they actually pull their finger out. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

So later today apart from signing we have budgeting. For the first time in a long time that actually looks possible.

What a surreal day in my surreal life!

Work...hmmmmm...weird but can't talk about it

Sign language exam...better but maybe not great
Followed by a sign language class with a deaf teacher and a piped band outside practising it appears.
In the middle of this me trying to get a coffee out of the machine (you'll like this not a lot...but you'll like it!) and trying to get my 10p's to stick in the machine by licking them. When they didn't work my friend gave me20p and I gave her two 10p's!!!! That and the piped band made me laugh a lot in class, nearly crying.
