    Well today Butti prepares for holiday....

    Well that would be a money saving holiday...less a holiday and more a busman's holiday :beer: all ably assisted by financial juggling Harry Houdini would be proud off!

    So on Wednesday Butti gets paid and gets a pay rise :j:j:j:j. Before Wednesday there needs to be forensic checking of bank accounts. On Monday payment goes from her current account to her credit card which means things will be tighter on the current account but easier on her credit card. On Thursday interest is applied to her credit card. On Wednesday she has to remember to pay at least £100 on the credit card but preferably about £200 or she will go over her limit. Everything is close to the edge this week...How close to the edge...about this close :eek::eek::eek: or maybe even this :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:.

    When we survive (note use of the word When!) I think I will have got through financially the most challanging year of my life. Only concern at the mo is that my payslip is on the system but not showing the increase. There had better not be any !!!!-ups :mad:


    So in anticipation of this week...
    • I have booked my bus ticket to London on Tuesday £7 (without the sneaky insurance National Express try to tag on - cheeky b**tards!)
    • I have booked on my credit card to see Lenny Henry in Fences. My brother is giving me £20 towards it which will also be paid on the credit card.
    • I am half way through making a pirate outfit
    • I have no parrot :( but I'm not paying £20 for one
    Right...I have plenty of sewing to be getting on with!

    Butti have you got a soft toy anything (cat, dog, monkey etc) if so take that and claim to be a pirate allergic to feathers :D

    £30 in my purse, £15 in my bank account and £50 available on my credit card if I need it. Eminantly doable!!!

    How exciting is it being this close to the edge?
