    Letter to my energy supplier done;

I have written to you on 15th December and subsequently rang you on Saturday 12th January regarding my loyalty payment and the timing of the direct debit for my electricity /gas account. The loyalty payment arrived the next day but is about to be dwarfed by bank charges resulting from the timing of your direct debit.

The date of the direct debit appears to have moved to 14th of the month which is one day before pay day. This is possibly the worst date for a large bill to hit my bank account and a disaster for anyone on a tight budget.

On 3rd January I had a reply to my earlier email. Niall in Customer Services said you ‘occasionally’ take payment earlier. As you followed the payment on 14th December with another payment on 14th January I am wondering how ‘occasional’ these early payments are going to be as I am now hitting bank charges ‘regularly’ every single month as a result. In my telephone call of 12th I agreed I would get the bill to more closely reflect my usage, which is low and set to get even lower, by taking a meter reading. I haven’t even had a chance to implement this advice.

Please do whatever you need to do to ensure that my direct debit ALWAYS falls after 15th of the month.
If you cannot do this please advise of what I need to do to move to an energy provider who actually realises direct debits are also there for the customers benefit.

None of which has any impact on the lodger getting a reduction of course!

I'm just going to moan today MOAN MOAN MOAN MOAN MOAN:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Really I have nothing to moan about. My life isn't bad if financially a bit tight.
My love life has prospects...in 2014...about December :T
I'm healthy as is my family
I'm enjoying my job although last week was stressful
My friends here...and on here...and over there even...and all over the place are lovely (That's a mention for you Chev)

BUT I am living with someone down here with ELEPHANT sized anger issues (obviously a cold elephant in this case!) What do you do with these people - repressed anger - it really stresses me and having work starting on 7 properties next week I am already a LITTLE stressed. Today's little outburst and muttering about common sense was about the shower curtain...the shower curtain that I had moved to the outside edge of the bath because I was having a bath...the shower curtain that dripped on to the floor...the floor covered with lino...waterproof lino.

Yes, that's what I thought clearly a :eek::eek: moment comparable to leaving the bath running and forgetting about it or forgetting to tell someone there had been an earthquake 15 miles to the west of you and you live next to the coast. Exactly the same!

Or yesterday when she had a go because I had moved her container of tomatoes off the microwave vents because I was using the microwave. Now I'm sure I've read this can cause the microwave to overheat and the house to burn down but maybe I just imagined that.
As you ask...I did plan to put them back on the top of the microwave at the end of cooking.
As you also ask...it is not her kitchen or her microwave...it was her tomatoes but I sense tomatoes don't burn very well!

I was wondering if a little chart on the front door counting down the days until she leaves on the 2nd would help. Something for ALL of us to look forward to.

    ...and breathe

Butti - I have found that some people verbalise exactly what they are thinking and have no brain:mouth filter. Can you pretend that she is a small child and give her no attention unless she trips up and hits her head???

The sooner the 2nd comes the better methinks!

Have told her to f**k o**.
You'll love her response. 'You can't tell me to f**k o**. I've lived here for one and a half years'
    Lol

With a bit of luck she will now ignore me!

Well the comedy value of this morning was quite good.

At 6.15/30 am lots of BANGING and CRASHING and STOMPING...presumably just to make sure I was awake at the same time as my housemate

Followed by the realisation that she had lost her keys and therefore couldn't get out of the house!!!!!! She had to ask her nice housemate (that's me by the way) to let her out. :rotfl::rotfl:
    I'm still laughing.

Now...this evening...do I let her back in or leave her to hypothermiate on the front doorstep.
    Oooooh decisions:D

Got the weekend's legal stuff sent off so the project shouldn't be delayed...and my stress levels should go down one notch.
