:hello: Hola Butti! Obviously because I have been MIA for, well, ever, I didn't realise you had a dairy. Thankfully I found it tonight and it saved me from getting around to putting things on eBay like I intended. Although I did somehow accidently buy a top and a canvas (incidently, they are both teal) instead... :o

I'm sure I had lots of witty comments and constructive advice as I was reading but for now I can only think of hot chocolate. :o Hot chocolate exists; the world is good.

Hopefully I'll pop in more often! (If I can remember how to work MSE... and you don't bar me. :D)

Maybe I'm like the 'crap' magnet, attracting nightmare people so other people aren't bothered by them!

That's only in my real life Skinty, not you lot, you are loverly.

Got home yesterday and the woman I live with (share with, not live with in the biblical sense!) has removed all the coats from the coat rack and put her ficcus in the corner with my coat behind it. When I say selfish this is pretty indicative. Fortunately she moves out in about a fortnight which is why I have restrained myself from saying to her 'Lets have a look at what the definition of racism is before you exclude yourself from the catagory. I'm pretty sure putting all asian nurses in a catagory together purely based on their race and then making sweeping statements about them IS classified as racism. Maybe I should put a chart on the front door counting down!

Anyway, have put the leccy money in, get paid tomorrow and going for a financial scurry under the bed - primarily to look for my rail vouchers so I can book my trip in March. Will do finances for the next month tonight.

On the clothes front 'I am not buying clothes for the next three months'. On Friday I bought a pair of cords for £8 in Mr S's. Took them back because they weren't perfect. At my workplace there is a clothes shop downstairs and currently have a sale on. I can be seen outside looking longingly in and saying 'I am NOT buying any clothes for 3 months'. These are the types of sacrifices you talked about aren't they Nic?

Helloooo Butti! I have loved catching up with your diary. I do laugh, not at the things that happen, but at the way you describe them. Anything else happened with the landlord of the pub since your last update? :D

Yes Butti, those are the sacrifices. And you'll note just how good I was at passing up a beautiful dress as it chased me down the street! :rotfl:

Erm, whilst you have a diary and I have now posted on it, I'm surprised you haven't banned me from spreading rumours that you have a dairy. Quite how you'd fit in the running of that right now, I'm not sure. It was, of course, a deliberate mistake *cough* to check you all were awake!

Right, I'm off to balance my body! (Which by, the way, would be good for your sore back. You only do pilates for some of it, not the whole hour so slightly less excrutiating if your core is as rubbish as mine! Can't remember when your back was sore mind you, it might have been ages ago. I crammed your last 5 months into Sunday night! ;))

My core's not great TBH.Body balance sounds good. Think there are classes here. I shall investigate.
I am having a good /bad day today.
Good because I have found my rail vouchers and my Morrisons vouchers . Good because I told my brother to use his HMV vouchers in December.
BAAAD because I was managing my budget and in Dec and Jan my energy provider has decided to start taking my Direct Debit early on the 14th of the month. My pay day is the 15th. Helpful!!!

I watched Miranda. Where's the boyfriend? Do hers last as long as mine! Love Patricia Hodge and the dart board. She is genius. Casting her was like getting Mo Stuart on Chris Evans show, a stroke of genius.
Haven't seen the landlord. Next sighting at the pub quiz on Wednesday. Friends at home are suggesting I throw myself at him in my Peanuts t-shirt. Maybe they've been watching too much Miranda!!!

Well...a friend posted on the book of faces that 'if you don't ask you definately won't get'. So I have asked, after my boss had said 'Well done' on a problem it looks like I have cracked (touche wood) and we shall see if I shall get.

Pay rise, or my pay in full as you ask. If I don't get I have prepared them for me putting in a request for a part time job (as a hooker!)

No not really - I think. Not at the moment anyway. Need a map of local areas first :D.

Tonight BSL class :T Not sure what that is the sign for?
and then  with a free round of  cos our team is brill.

For those of you who think a Miranda type lifestyle doesn't work - think again. Have bought train tickets up to Edinburgh for £8.50 due to having some train vouchers. Why did I get them?

Well....(settle down children I shall tell you more) (May have already told you this but I do have a tendancy to repeat myself!) Top tip for unemployed people.

    1. Go for an interview
    2. Get on a train on the day the train infront brings down overhead lines
    3. Be on the train for 3 hours over the expected arrival time
    4. Rearrange interview
    5. Go to local library in that town where there are NO seats
    6. Try to stay awake for re-arranged 5pm interview
    7. Find out the expresso machine in the library is broken
    8. Have an interview where you are past it, the interviewers are past it, even the plant in the corner is wilting.

BUT make sure you arrange the interview through the job centre so they pay for the train fare.

...and then claim for the inconvenience (and lets face it it wasn't great!) and get the WHOLE rail fare back in vouchers.
    £130 in vouchers :j:j:j

    9. Check on trainline or similar for train prices.
    10. Book two singles and use your vouchers.

A wasted interview but cheap travel for a few journeys this year. :T

Right back to the grind. Life exciting and terrifying in equal measure this week. Hope it all comes off...and my head doesn't.

p.s. Lodger wants to see gas and leccy bills so I may need some suggestions of what E stands for (As in Estimate not Electricity). Need to check bills.
