Completely manic at work - my brain is starting to fry....my work colleague has handed some of his work over to me.......and I had to leave early to go home so the boiler man could visit. My boiler can't repressurise! The tube that feeds to the box that does that bit is too narrow so there's some crud stuck in it (that's the technical explanation!) Unfortunately tomorrow at work is like hell and the next day is like the day after hell!!! I was having trouble thinking today I was so stressed with work....and pressure....and boiler......and pressure.

Think when I get to Milan I will just start crying.

Have remembered to get my moneybelt and my money....and my guide to Milan. Am going home to make a chorizo and tomato thing with pasta. Cheap and can be eaten cold.

Need to do a to do list for Tomorrow as Wednesday I just go to work and then go on holiday.:eek::eek::eek::T:T:T:T

Boiler getting fixed on my return and under warranty

Have a great holiday. How's the Antique white? Strong enough to cover the feature wall?

I'm doing the easy bits first. All the other walls in Antique White (like a warm white- lovely). The feature wall is going to need steaming, scraping and then possibly nuclear attack!

Am back from Milan. Twas good and I managed to not spend all my money.

This is good because I put a deposit down for another Yaris last night. A 1.3 5 door built in 2011 with 29 k on the clock. Finance should go through today. Is both a manual and automatic!

Now I need to put my Milan spending money in the bank.

Looking forward to next weekend and FOUR WHOLE DAYS when I can get things cleared and sorted and painted. Work has been so manic nothing has been getting done at home. I am still boxes...and boxes......and pots of paint .....and piles of paper!

Boiler gets fixed on 1st and I can't wait for that either, although it does seem to have got milder in the last few days.

Did my last handover for this 'year' on Friday. My colleague crossed from the 'safe pedestrian route' to the houses.....which abruptly came to an end and became a quagmire, a quagmire he was trapped in. Lost his shoe in the mud but still didn't drop the packs he was holding for the new tenants. I was :rotfl:.....actually I was more like :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:....all you could hear was me wheezing. Really cheered me up!

Can't find my second car key so looks like I will need to get one cut tomorrow before I go and pick the new car up (this looks expensive!). Better focus on the £30 a year tax and better fuel economy. The insurance has gone up £63, only £63 for a car that is worth about £6900 more than my current car. Amazing!!

Have hoovered and cleaned the car today. Am tired. Haven't washed it......it will have to rain hard tomorrow!

....and so to bed Remember the clocks.
