    No - you don't want to end up with a bad bed!!! that would never do! I have the best bed in the world (super king memory foam thing!) Its huge and comfy and there is a lot of wasted space for just me - but all my 4 kids fit in when we want to snuggle and watch TV (or they want to torture me with and early morning wake up!!!) but I am sure £500-600 would get you a decent bed!

    Right...so this week I need to find the lead for the laptop so I can go home and vacate the library....Yes I'm still here:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Went to have a look at a car at the weekend...hence my random angry outburst. Made the mistake of going to one of those car supermarkets.....Parkers says the car is work about £6000....with low mileage it is worth about £6300....they have it advertised at £7090. When I asked what he was prepared to knock off it was £90....oh and he'd give me £100 for my car. "WOW...... THANKS!" I didn't say. Walking I did do.

    Really wound me up though. I really hate car sales people (as a group, not individually) particularly those in the stack em high....don't sell em cheap places. It's like Bl**dy window salesman...they have a script.....they have patter and they just treat you like a number. (I do realise this is a vast generalisation!)

    Going to try local dealerships this week I think. See if they are any better. I don't think I am going to top buying a car in a deep recession with car production on a 3 day week. That gave me super powers in negotiation.:D

    Anyway after going to the car place and having to walk about 10 minutes later I went and bought a chicken in Mr S and made a Sunday dinner in my new cooker :D and then had to spend another 10 minutes trying to work out how to turn it off!

    Also called into all the DIY shops and bought the little tester pots to work out what colour to paint my living room and kitchen. The one good thing about having had depression and therapy is that you know what can pick you up a bit. Living room I think is going to be this and this but more primrosy (my sofa) with cream/buff walls and curtains for now. The curtains may change in about a year.

    Going home now to test out my tester pots :D and empty my ENDLESSssssssssssssss................... boxes. I suspect there is going to be a parting of the waves tonight between;

    a. Will be sorted
    b. You're going in the garage cos I really can't be ars*d for now.

    Who wants to place a bet they will still be there in 10 years time :D

    Still contemplating joining a dating site....Martin has advice on it somewhere I'm sure.

    p.s. Found out on Friday that I passed my drawing course - how I'm not quite sure!

    One of they guys who I work with also went looking for a car in a similar sort of place. The salesman wouldn't let him browse until he'd taken details, name/address etc, then was with him every step of the way saying "What do you think of this one?" then did the hard sell "With his boss", and finally, rang him up when he'd gone home.

    No way on this planet I would have put up with that...

    They will be. Often they've been owned by the same people for donkey's years and live and die by word-of-mouth.

    No. Alas 2014 was a good year for sales.

    Do one box every other day. No more and no less. It's quick enough to get it sorted, but no so much work it's daunting.

    I think I'll wait until I've moved though.
