Yes indeed. Nothing to eat, nothing to keep them warm and nothing for their eggs to hatch out on.

This has cheered me along with the realisation that I have suitable clothing to get worn clothes from the bedroom into a hot wash without being bitten. Oh yes...I have kept a motorcycle jacket, gloves, trousers and boots. Chomp through that you little b*ggers! !.

They won't chomp through it, they'll just crawl through all the joins and gaps such as at the waist. What you really need is a PVC or leather once-piece.

So yes, looks like your weekend gear will have to be broken out...

Thanks Beanie....nearly there! Some purchasing to do this afternoon, one step and a mini storage box, both from Ikea. Also looking at curtain fabric for the front door and a sausage (but then I'm always looking for them!!!)

Really tired. Too much standing up and moving boxes, hoovering up insects and pretty full on at work too.

Can I ask a question? (that one was a rhetorical one cos I'm going to ask it anyway!)

So when I pay off the credit card and the CDL I become debt free :T. But in the meantime to allow me to keep doing my job I shall be buying a car with a car loan and given recent events, A bed. :rotfl:

Does this mean I can still classify myself as debt free although strictly speaking I won't be?

I agree - I wouldn't count the car (although technically it is still debt!) but I would count the bed!

Do you need to use credit for the bed?

Don't go looking too hard for sausage, otherwise you may find it, and that that would raise an issue. Or something.

    So you found a sausage?

What would motivate you into clearing it up the quickest?

If it's about £500 - 600 I could do it on savings and that months MBNA payment but any more and it's a push. I have an iffy back so I don't mind saving on the bed but I really don't want to invest in the false economy of a cheap crap bed.
