Butti's Journey: A matter of loaf and death

Colleague today has been saying I can smell garlic.....can you not smell garlic? I suspect I am sweating it but I can't smell it.
Or she's a vampire suffering from PTSD after an unfortunate incident at a BBQ involving a steak...Last nights food was great. I did a lentil and veg soup;
2 carrots,
2 sticks celery
1 big pour of red lentils
1 stock cube - veg, and water
1 onion or leek
and added garlic pilau rice from the curry meal and about 2 inches of ginger.
Tasted great....comforting but with a real kick to it.
Two inches of ginger would kick me too...Lets revise that Christmas to a bag of tangerines and some walnuts
This a big step up from used coal...Wish me luck for tomorrow. I'm going to the opening of a scheme outside on top of a hill in the middle of the country and I've still got a cold!. What happened to the good ole days when you used to wear a hat for these events!!!
Good luck!

Library closed today so can't update you on totals, that will have to wait until payday on Monday!
On Friday someone at work put a notice up about next week. Next week we are having a 'Find the worst dressed child' competition.
I thought this would involve trawling the local street for an unfortunate child folloowed by a 'How fast can our staff get beaten up by said worst dressed child's parents!'
But it appears I've misunderstood.
This competition focuses on our childhood photo's not other peoples badly dressed children.Debt LBM (08/09) £11,641. DEBT FREE APRIL 2021.

It was normal for the 70's - that's the problem.skint_spice wrote: »My mother hated me!
No, it was merely that she was part of the generation that hated taste and loved the electric feeling that only pure nylon can give you.I have a nice picture where I'm clashing with a orange brown carpet!
