Butti's Journey: A matter of loaf and death

So.....still waiting for my owners to find a house.
Not "your" owners. Don't think you need to take ownership of disasters, calamities and all-round idiocy - you've enough on your plate. "The" owners.Have started to feel sorry for the Estate Agents :eek:What a state of affairs!
A dreadful state indeed, especially since Estate Agents rank just above MPs in the ever-popular popularity stakes.Right off to assess my totals so I can update soon, probably Monday. Currently £800 under my O/D limit so should probably get the suspension done next week. May need some advising on how much it is likely to be.
I had two back springs replaced at about £400 (IIRC) all in at a main dealer - if that's any help. Though there was additional work on top, so may have been discounted slightly.p.s. Two years yesterday since I started my job. Do you remember that, sitting in a canal boat pondering the terrifying prospect of going to work after over 2 years of not. Feel like its time for :bdaycake:

Are you the youngest in your family? A lot of that sort of thing used to happen to me as well. I put it down to being the youngest.
I'm the youngest
and the girl
and the one who recently lost their job had to retrain and got into debt :T
I'm sure I'm the one he's proudest of!!!
But as my middle brother says 'It's not like any of us deal drugs, are in prostitution or have killed anyone'. Anything that would really SHAME HIM.

Well I used to get the talked-over, patronised and the rest because I was the youngest (and the boy) - the baby of the family even 40 years later. Of course now things have changed since I'm the only child who visits parents on anything like a frequent basis.
It's funny how that works.and the one who recently lost their job had to retrain and got into debt :T
Everyone is in debt the day they sign that mortgage agreement.I'm sure I'm the one he's proudest of!!!
Does he express pride in any of you?But as my middle brother says 'It's not like any of us deal drugs, are in prostitution or have killed anyone'. Anything that would really SHAME HIM.
My parents have that exact same attitude. But they have "the other side of the family" to compare us against. That's like a soap opera, but with better acting.Really we're ok people.

I think somewhere deep he is but he hides it REALLY well under layers of sarcasm and stiff upper lippyness. Plus he doesn't believe he is good enough so sees our achievements as competition. It's like he still has to win.
Exciting money news....but first I must go and swim:D:D
