Sent a complaint to my energy supplier FU (Did nobody spot that when they were doing 'name creating'?) saying (I paraphrase here)

Here's a copy of the letter I am sending to the consumer pages of the Guardian in a couple of days time if I don't get a response
Phone call an hour later from the lovely Sebastian [who was lovely] and two emergency cheques for £215 or thereabouts
Suddenly my mortgage/ moving in buffer is looking a hell of a lot healthier.
I subsequently went to the bank and fed in my £200 amount to savings for this month
