I'm back from 5days of glorious sunshine......and its cold and wet.
Do I need to get my boots back out and the woolly tights?

Ah well focus on sorting the house I suppose!

Well.....things get no less stressful do they when you are buying a house :eek::eek::eek::eek:

This morning got into work and couldn't get the computer to work, my left ear isn't working either and one of the contractors people was explaining to me in a super patronising email how I could make her job easier. Maybe if you just sorted out the problems we've identified with the house at the beginning of May love.....maybe that would help. Major email coming on tomorrow but I think I'll wait till I've calmed down a bit.

The lack of hearing on top of all that just :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: me. What holiday feeling.

Anyway my boss has had a look at photo's of my house and reckons there will be asbestos in the heaters. This in itself is not a problem but will incur additional cost for me [STRIKE]if[/STRIKE] when I replace it with central heating. Survey is next week so I have highlighted this with surveyor. What I do with it then I'm not sure. The owner is pretty much intractable on the price and I may need to decide how good I am at poker...or I may have to stick (always my preferred position in pontoon!)

New guy in the house is making his presence felt. He NEEDS a cupboard next to the cooker:rotfl:. Lets have a look at that word 'needs' shall we?
I had to wait to get in the bathroom this morning after his girlfriend had got in before me....and he's pressed some button on the heating system which means it is more or less constantly on. He says he doesn't have enough kitchen space...well maybe you need to buy your own place. or maybe I should :D

You haven't moved in with a woman have you? I find I go deaf in one ear under those circumstances...

So what have you done to stop hearing in one ear then?

Or keep looking. Plenty other fish in the sea if that's a deal-breaker for you.

Too much wax in my ear Mr Z. I am squirting stuff in it!

Provided the asbestos is intact (VERY IMP.) and not one of the really bad ones it will be okay. Most of the refurbishments I work on have some asbestos.

Now that sounds like a description of a German independent horror film...
