    Turns out his appendectomy was when he was about 19!

    Have a walking tour at 11am tomorrow. Gets a good write up. Off to bed in a mo.

    See I slept for 10 hours so clearly I needed my sleep.

    Walking tour very good. 'Free' aswell 2.5 hours walking and some interesting facts....like how post-war it took the women of Berlin 6 weeks to build Tegal Airport. Berlin Brandenburg Airport was due to open in 2010, built by men, it's not finished!!(Free as in you had to tip the guide)
    Off to look at Jewish history tomorrow and for a meal at my favourite pub

    Met up with my friend from 22 years ago. Had lunch in a lovely spot next to the lake in Tiergarten and then walked through Tiergarten (it's like Central Park but bigger!) along Unter den Linden through museum island and out to the edge of town. Had a couple of beers and watched an outdoor dance class on the way. It was a nice day and he was a good guide.

    I'm not doing much walking today and at the end of the day I'll be seeing Peter Gabriel at the Waldbrune :D
