Well I would have my totals ready for you Beanie....but I've just paid another £100 off so I haven't :D. I shall post an offering in about a week (most of the payments automatically are taken off around about 22nd of the month!)

Have also just booked both lots of flights. I need to find one of those tree planting sites as I don't want to be responsible for the destruction of the planet just because I like hopping on and off planes:o. So am going up to Scotland:T:T:T:T next Friday to help out at a beer festival. Posted up a question about doing it and the costs and a friend has responded with the offer of a bed (not his bed!!!) (he does have a partner!) which is the correct response and ensures the whole thing costs me the minimum covering flights.

Then I've also booked my flights to Berlin to see Peter Gabriel at the end of next month. Have booked for six days so that will be a nice break. Flights have cost £85 and will book hotel next pay day.

So that's my jolly holibobs sorted, at least until August. I've also paid the rent so that should ensure skintdom for the rest of the month!:rotfl:

I think I am going to try and see my bank before I go up to Scotland. I want to see someone who doesn't necessarily run it through as a credit check but tells me how much they can lend me to see if we are getting any closer to actually being able to afford anything remotely resembling a house.

Today the guy who talks to my t*ts is moving out (note I'm getting even LESS subtle as time goes on!). He did say a couple of days ago that him and his girlfriend were going through a difficult time. I was thinking 'Let me pay her to take you away - really everyone has a price'. It's not so much that he is lazy and incapable of looking at my face and is lazy. It's more that the other guy bangs around upstairs at midnight and he bangs around at 5.30am and I get no sleep. Oh...and he's lazy....did I mention that! To cap it all she's parked in the middle of the two parking spaces infront of the house....Please feel free to irritate me .

Better go or I think my car will get locked into / clamped in Sainsburys!

All you need to do, is instead of throwing apple cores away, is put the seeds in the ground - job done.

You mean the Scots need help to drink beer? I don't believe a word of it...

I seem to remember man and wife (not just partner) a couple of pages ago...

Most banks/building societies have a "how much can I borrow?" calculator on their websites. These range from the sublime (local BS will lend me 120.000) to the ridiculous (Halifax will lend me just shy of 170,000) to the bizarre bizarrity that is Hinkley and Rugby's calculator...

Perhaps that's why - too much effort to raise his eyes...

Lots of banging in your house...

A woman did that at work, so two of us parked up close either side. She didn't do that again.

So tonight the slightly sloshed and smelly bloke at the bar has focussed the mind back to my highly successful love life :rotfl:. He told me I was lovely / he loved me about 4 times tonight. So after concluding I am irresistable I asked my friend this question tonight. She couldn't answer and she nearly crashed the car laughing so it's either you lot or Grill Graham!!!

A friend at work (VERY politically correct workplace) has asked me to go for a drink. I say friend but I don't know her very well but if I had to guess would say she is a lesbian. I also suspect she is interested in me. Bearing in mind I have the tact of an elephant dropped on your head from a jumbo jet, what would you do?

I am not (an elephant, jumbo jet or lesbian!)

This whole situation really reminds me of asking a bloke out for a drink at a council, him saying yes, then being evasive and me working out he hadn't come out and I'd cornered him. It pretty much immediatly reminded me of that.

It depends on how you measure success really...

Only 4 - what were you doing to him?

I'm not sure I'm any better - you probably won't believe how much I laughed at this post... :rotfl:

She can't be that much of a cliche surely...

Well you must be triggering some sense in her - she's used to a society which is majority hetrosexual. Maybe it's time to bin that rainbow window sticker... :rotfl:

Advice on how to proceed when a lesbian asks you out? Ermm... a bit beyond me I'm afraid - no experience in that department. I can't even tell you what the other side is thinking.

Well, apart from you probably look good in dungarees...

Amazon. I also saw this one and thought - "What the hell does bromine and barium have to do with anything?"

But no - it's not that...
