    Going back to your original problem... (:p) I went to a wedding of the XOH's penpal a number of years ago. I didn't know anyone - XOH (though not X at the time) only "knew" the bride. The bride was rather busy that evening and not keen on looking after two virtual strangers.

    It was grim.

    You can't beat a whopping Bratwurst....and lucky for the guys I share with I've left them with a half eaten slice of toast. They are so lucky to share with me!!!! (Taxi early this morning!)

    I did sense the sheer volume of german meat was weighing me down!

    Have come home to an important meeting that has been cancelled and a load of friends still in Germany and still posting what a brilliant time they are having. B*stards!!!!
    But also to a pay packet that has leapt by about £350...so that somewhat dulls the pain :D Am going to shift the extra straight on to the credit card with the £200 in euro's I didn't spend. We shall then look at divying up this months budget and carrying on with the frugal cooking. Think we need a fortnight of veggie and fish dishes just to sort out the meat assault on my guts in the last week!
