My niece using my computer was looking for insurance and chose the AA unfortunately she was insured with quotemehappy last year and I advised her to contact the same and make sure her insurance would not be taken off automaticaly which she did as there was a phone number for them and she phoned up and the that there was a tick on the box to say that it would not be renewed. She went ahead and insured with the AA and everything seemed alright .About 6 later weeks she came to me and said that quotemehappy had taken money out of her account in other words they had reinsured her she now has insurance with the AA and quotemehappy we have been trying to get her money back and they asked for proof that she is insured with another insurance but every email we send it takes a full day to reply we sent a copy of her insurance certificate but we are getting messed about and we are at our wits end as she needs her money as she is going on holiday and is only in a part time job can anybody give any advice on what to do.:mad:0

You can escalate this to the fos by following the qmh complaints procedure.
This is really all you can do as qmh are difficult to speak to, though won't help your neices holiday money as a complaint escalation takes months to be resolved.
Maybe you can sub her?0 -
A common complaint people have with QMH is that they can't be contacted by phone. What number did she phone?0

I am having exactly the same problem now.
You cannot respond to their texts and their website have now made it impossible to send an email.
They, obviously, don't have a telephone admin team - which is why they seem to be the most competitive.
However, when anything goes wrong, it all turns to S**T!!
I have now tried the email address supplied within this chat thread but not holding my breath.0 -
To the OP a similar problem with co operative insurance. They refused to re instate even though it was their fault they cancelled my insurance. I didn't even get the letter saying they were going to cancel, just a letter 3 weeks later saying I needed to send my cert back. I had to buy new insurance that day. I wrote a letter of complaint, it took about 3 months to get resolved but in the end I had it in writing that they screwed up and that my insurance was cancelled in error and that I didn't need to declare cancelled insurance to future insurers. Also they sent me some compensation too, about £50 I think and refunded my last 2 months premiums.0

I joined this lot last week and am already regretting it. I have tried several times to upload my NCD using their app but it keeps saying INTERNAL SERVER ERROR. When I try using my laptop, it says it doesn't like the PDF file type even though the web site says it accepts JPEG, PDF etc.. I have sent 4 emails to date but all unanswered. They cannot be contacted by phone and this morning I got a letter saying that if my NCD is not received by next week they will cancel my insurance and charge me £ 50. My advice - use any other company but Quotemehappy.0
