    Hello,

I currently have a Samsung TFT that's on it's way out. Does anyone have any experience of the Medion one that is on sale? I'm quite a perfectionist when it comes to displays and the picture has to be spot on.

Its a very good spec. I was thinking about building a HTPC but this thing would take all the hassle out of building a PC
it would be nice if they told us what motherboard it was and expandability

This one is basically the 8818 with a slightly higher CPU so will be same spec motherboard etc

Loads of details on the forum above dedicated to Aldi PCs

    Hope that helps

Lady with daughter going to Uni....
Before buying a laptop or PC take into account their lodgings for all years, rented accommodation do not always have locks on doors. In this case I would use a deskbase as it's not so easy to lift !!!! Happy hunting.

think about driving it up and down the motorway every few months if they're in halls and at least once a year if not

student insurance isn't massively expensive... ;)

My point being All cases need to be looked into, the fors' and againsts'. Remember money is not everything as I'm sure you'll agree when you've lost all your course work, other files and sentimental pictures.
    Just weigh up the odds......
PS although insurance isn't expensive the excess may be, and I'd hate to claim more than once. My daughter lost handbag etc...Not nice.
