I was too late for this. I only caught wind of this on Saturday and am a complete novice but got a bit overly excited about this and spent £17.36 on Weetabix and £17.20 on Tetley teabags thinking they would last us a while and we would make a saving in the long run as our car guzzles the fuel. However when it was delivered yesterday we didn't get a single fuel voucher :(

Kicking myself now! As if I had just ordered online from Asda I would have had £20 off my groceries! Boooo :(
    Dream of being mortgage free....

If you look at your receipt next to your name should be a P then a number, that is the number of vouchers you should have got.

As for how you tell them just say you should have got yellow vouchers as the red ones have been withdrawn, if they ask how you know just say a Tesco employee told you. It is true.

BTW most of the CS help desk staff are useless and wouldn't know anything about the offer anyway.

Managed to fill up two cars on one lot of vouchers (well 5 x 10p).

We just parked one ahead of the pump and the other right up behind that one and didn't put the nozzle back in between filling the first and the second.

Really hope T's do this again!

New vouchers should be out next week.

5p off when you spend £50, not sure if you can spend more than one at once.

So last week it was 50p a litre off with a £30 spend, next week it's 5p with a £50 spend.

I think Tesco are losing the plot with this loyalty scheme. Or are people still gullible enough to be sucked in by one half decent offer?

And the petrol's gone up this week anyway, so even with the voucher you'll be giving Tesco the same money as you were giving them last week!

But the difference is that was all on certain items. You can only keep buying loads of cereal or toilet roll for so long. At least the new one is just on a £50 shop, so can be made up of anything, with certain exceptions.

If you fill up more than 60 litres at a time you could give away the groceries and still been in profit. I'm sure people who fit into that category would disagree with you.

Which is where the unpredictable price guarantee comes in.

I only get about 40 litres in my car so a maximum of £2.00 off. Spend £50 & get £2.00 off at Tesco, or shop at Asda and they'll price match less 10% so shopping will only be £45. Plus petrol at Asda is usually at least 1p a litre cheaper anyway, saving even more.

I find the Asda price guarantee fairly reliable, unlike Tesco's. In theory if Asda were cheaper then Tesco would price match them so along with the fuel saving I'd be a few pence better off. But with their track record for price matching along with my dislike of them it'll take more than a potential 50p saving for me to shop there.

I'd sooner shop at Asda with the polite friendly helpful staff than with the miserable, useless "I don't know- you'll have to go and wait at customer services for ages because I can't be bothered to help you" and sometimes rude Tesco trouts.
