Like comparing apples and oranges as you have a deficit of £10 with a credit of shopping, he has a credit of £15. If you used the items then that is good value f you don't then what teh other poster has done is good value, neglecting the fact that his vouchers were probably stolen!

I am only buying the stuff I'll use. The tea seems like a good deal - but we don't drink tea and 80 bags lasts us about 3 months. My kitchen has boxes of cereal and jars of coffee on all the top cupboards. Dreading anyone coming round and having to explain it, LOL.

I know what you mean. My garage is full of beans & cereals too! As well as bulk buys from Costco. If its a bad winter we will be fine lol!

I went yesterday and bought a load of cinnamon cereal that OH is obsessed with atm, spent £12 on 8 boxes (had 50p coupons for all of these) and got 20p off for petrol, but when I got home realised that they had only taken off 10p per litre. Really not impressed, should have checked that it was the right amount - must have my wits about me in future couponing expeditions :(

Can anyone tell me what expiry date the vouchers coming out now have got on them?
Doing a Tesco shop this week but won't need to fill car up for at least a week, so wondering if it's worth it. Would be buying mostly cereal, we get through SO much and there's only 2 of us!

Assumed you would. Nearer the end of the deal we will stock up on cereal and put it in the garage. We still have 10 vouchers left from stocking up on squash and coffee! I only commented because despite having years of experience on here I still sometimes buy something that I don't really need because it is a bargain!

There was a haulier on the thread earlier asking how best to make this work for him and someone worked out he would need 120 shopping trips! In his case he would be better off buying the vouchers off ebay!
  • Every time I get vouchers they have 14 days on them from purchase date. Check home shopping date the day before offer ends to see if any new promotions after end of current as this will give a chance to stock up on vouchers if no new offers.

I bought 8 bags of value porridge oats for £6 and got a voucher for 10p off per litre.

This means if I put 60 litres of fuel in my vehicle I will have FREE porridge:D

I would add that we have porridge for breakfast every day.

i was under the impression you needed a reciept to prove you bought the products when you gave the voucher in?

and heres another idea.. whos to say the people in the petrol station kiosks aren't taking the vouchers home that get given in...?

I've never been asked to produce the receipt to go along with the vouchers and normally wouldn't be carrying the receipt on me anyway.

Planning to do the same this week. For me, that's probably a year's supply but it keeps and those are my favourite oats anyway :)
