Sorry if this has been asked before but does anyone know if you get a petrol voucher if your spend on cereal is over £6 before multi-buy discounts or is it the total you pay? Thanks.

It's on the cash you hand over ie the Weetabix is 2 for £3 so you need to buy 2 x 2 to get one voucher based on the £6 you hand over. But there are some quite good offers on the cereal anyway so it's still a very good deal.

Thanks for the replies guys, ended up answering myself lol.

Doubled up 2 x £5 vouchers to 2 x £10 pet food vouchers after confirming with CS that I should still get the petrol vouchers.

    I had another £4 clubcard voucher and a £3 off £30.

So got 2 packs of whiskas, 2 packs of toilet rolls, 8 value packs of oats, 2 packs weetabix and a big pack of coco pops.

All in for just over £20 actual cash and got 5 x 10p petrol vouchers. Well pleased, with our galaxy taking around 80l to fill I reckon Tesco will be paying us to take their shopping away lol.

Just off to see if any money back on the price match site.

Always best to check the prices before you shop, rather than hoping for a JTD afterwards. That way you can pay for something separately if it's going to muck up the price promise.

Kellogg's Crunchy Nut 750g are £3.14 in T's / £2 in A's, so one to replace the Shreddies on the JTD / petrol coupon list.

Hello, I am hoping to try this today. I would be really grateful if someone could tell me what the period of validity is on the money off petrol coupons as we don't need petrol quite yet. Thanks :-)

Thanks very much. I have another cereal for those doing JTD. On Mysupermarker Kelloggs Special K original 550g is £3.29 in Tesco and £2.00 in Asda.

Do I need to put through the £30 cereal in five transactions or is one ok? Thanks.

I bought £30 of cereal this morning in one transaction and the till spat out 5 petrol vouchers one after the other. I have a seriously non-moneysaving big old car which has a 70 litre tank. I ran it right down and it was ready to fill this morning, filled it up to the top and got £33.50 off thanks to the vouchers. Mr T has therefore paid me to take away their cereal! :T Kinda makes up for the old trouts I keep finding working on their tills who turn their noses up at the internet coupons I keep presenting them with :D

I posted this this morning on the JTD thread but now I think it might be better on here. This is how I got the 5 vouchers plus some staples I needed anyway.

I have just got my JTD vouchers back.

    I bought Weetabix 72 pk £5.38
    Special k chocolate £2.69
    Special K red berry £2.69
    Tesco 1kg oats 0.75
    Cocopops £2.68
    Special k 550g £3.29
    Sugar puffs £1
    1 loose gala apple £0.28
Total cost £18.76 JTD of £2.67 and 3x 10p off per litres.

    2nd purchase was
    Special K original 550g £3.29
    Coco pops £2.68
    Special k Berry £2.69
    Weetabix chocolate spoonsize £2.25
    Krave hazelnut £2.69
    Everday spaghetti £0.24p
    Everday mozzerella £0.44p
    Everyday plain flour £0.52p
    Total cost £15.24 JTD £3.35 2x 10p off vouchers
Total cost after JTD is £27.98 needing a tank fill of 56 litres to make it all free. :j

My tank takes 60 litres so they paid me to take it all. :D

    I hope this helps people.

Doesn't anyone have petrol cans they can fill up? I borrowed some from friends so that I could get my full 100 litres (£50 saving);)
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)
