Tesco - up to 50p off per litre of fuel

Do we know when the items in the offer will be changing? Want to do JTD on cereal but don't need fuel in either car yet, so hanging on as long as poss!

On the Tesco site the T & C's at the bottom state valid on products up to 12th August, so assume either the offer ends then or the products change so that would suggest sunday?

We are going to stock up on cereals and toilet roll today as we are going to wales tommorrow. The Galaxy is running on fumes so should be a good saving lol.

Can I just check I have not done this offer before as we don't use mr t's much now, do we need to do the transactions in separate goes or could you buy say 5 of the same qualifying offer in one transaction and still get 5 10p vouchers?

Last night I bought four packs of tea bags and cereals to the value of £6.48 and got three petrol vouchers at the check out. So yes, you'll get a voucher for every full multiple.

Plus, because it was a biggish shop, I also got a £6 voucher off my next £40 shop and when I put the reciept into the Tesco price check thingie I got a voucher for £3.50-ish.

I've got a big tank in the car, 65 litres, and it will need a full fill-up early next week. So I shall pop in for another four packs of teabags today and get another two vouchers. That should save me about £25-ish in total off my top up which means I've got eight packs of teabags and my £6.48 worth of cereal (which was also on extra 2-4-1 offers) for free. Not bad at all, really. And I'll still have the £6 and £3.50 voucher to use next week of my next shop.

Hubby rolls his eyes at all this btw. "How can you be bothered?" Well, for £38.50 or so of goods/money not spent for a little mental effort you'd be mad not to bother, no? Even if you spend a few minutes with a calculator that's not a bad hourly rate at all!

Thanks for that Val, I think you are right for a little bit of time to work our what to buy the savings are worth it.
For us as we are a family of 6 although we run a second car which has a small engine for OH to work or if not going out all together (saves on petrol). We need a big car to fit us all in. The galaxy has a big tank (80 l I think) so filling up can be a big saving on this offer.

Also just got my clubcard vouchers and there is a few £4 off when you spend £30 vouchers hmmm. Anyone know if you can use clubcard vouchers (of any type) as well? Or does it mess up the offer?

TBH mum doubled her vouchers up last week to get the bits of uniform we needed (apart from the stuff we have to get from the official shop).

Just noticed can double up on pet food, so could I use my £10 doubled to £20 against 2 packs of the whiskas pouches (we have 2 cats so would get used) so they would cost in "real" money £6 and give 2 vouchers?

Would appreciate advice if this would work? As I said not a bit tesco shopper (vouchers are from petrol and eon points mostly) so not sure how these things can combine together.

I purchased £30 cereals in one go and got 5 vouchers

Tried buying 12 Weetabix last week (£26.04 reduced to £18.00 on multibuy) and only got 3 vouchers

Any offers will be based on what you pay. Not the original RRP (or should that be TPP - Tesco pretend price)

Last night I bought 6 packs of toilet roll and used a £3 off £30, still got 3 petrol coupons. Hope this helps.
