I signed up to delivery saver so I've just done a cereal shop for tomorrow night - I;ve added some stuff in that is cheaper in Asda. Can anyone tell me the dates when the promo for Asda £1 cereal changes please.

Purchased 2 x Finish 78's last night from my local store and did my first ever Tesco Pricecheck, fully expecting to get £5 back for each. Sadly they came back as N/A, which is very strange and very annoying because I checked them on Sainsburys.co.uk and they were listed at £9.00 each. I took a screenshot of the Sainsburys.co.uk website just for good measure.

Does anybody have any suggestions regarding what, if anything, can be done about this as Tesco say (in their T and C's) that they don't enter into correspondence about their pricecheck but it seems to me that they have some serious questions to answer?

Yes call 0800 505555 and talk to customer services. If you persist you should get a gift card for the difference. Good luck.
  • Avoided buying something I may not want use.
Bought 5x 50p for £10.00 off e bay and got £25 off fuel.

Got my delivery today and no vouchers again. This time I decided to call CS and they are putting 5 vouchers in the post. I wanted the JTD so decided to take the delivery.

I've also reported the people selling 100 vouchers a time on eBay - if the person processing orders is simply not sending them out with delivery drivers so people like me are getting them they could be accumulating 200 vouchers+ a day!! Sorry if I have offended anyone by reporting it but it is just not on.

Well. Today I bought 5 boxes of shreddies, 1 box of coco pops, 12 boxes of Weetabix minis as well as things like milk and top up stuff I needed. I spent £45.

Checked the prices on Asda as I shopped and they were either the same price or less so I have a JTD voucher of around £10 to come back. No delivery to pay as I have delivery saver.

    I'll save £25 on petrol.

£45 less £10 JTD, less £25 petrol (which I needed anyway as it is the summer holidays) - so '£10' has bought me 18 boxes of cereal that we use (and they can be stored for over a year) as well as other day to day essentials such as milk, eggs and wraps.

My £10 spend seems better value than yours tbh. :D

Like comparing apples and oranges as you have a deficit of £10 with a credit of shopping, he has a credit of £15. If you used the items then that is good value f you don't then what teh other poster has done is good value, neglecting the fact that his vouchers were probably stolen!
  • Why are some people buying vouchers on *bay
Just bought 4 packs Tetley 160 teabags, 3 Boxes Crunchy Nut Cornflakes,8 Boxes Weetabix - all for £30.00.
Got 5 X 10p fuel vouchers and bought 74 litres fuel on way out saving £37.00. Thank you Tesco for Free shopping, £7.00 and 132 clubcard points. (Tesco credit card)
