    Hi

just a quick update re the price promise following my post on Saturday.

The main shop (2 x 10p off a litre shop plus £5 off when you spend £40) Tesco's were 40p cheaper than Sainsbury's, Morrisons & Asda so no jtd (just the difference) coupon there.

On the other shop I did, I got a coupon for £4.24 as sainsburys were £4.24 cheaper. I bought 2 lots of Robinsons Squash (4 bottles in total £3.50 each bottle & they are £2 in sainsburys), 4 x 4 packs of baked beans (tesco is cheaper) & 1 x 300g of Nescafe (Sainsburys and Asda are selling this for £5 as well as 1 banana, 1 orange, 1 pear, 1 potato and some own brand stock cubes in various flavours which ensured I had 8 different items. I also got 3 x 10p off a litre.

I just wanted to say a big thanks for letting me know about tesco's price promise and the best way to go about it.

So on top of 50p off per litre, £5 when you spend £40 in store, some existing coupons for Purina (got the info from here and did a trial so got free cat food too) and now £4.24 for JTD I'm really pleased. I wouldn't have thought of any of it without this and other threads.

I won't join the debate in whether its worth spending to get 50p off a litre as it was my choice and I didn't buy anything I wouldn't have bought. I was going to shop at tesco's anyway with my £5 off voucher.

    So a BIG THANK YOU

    hi

followed the advice on here and got 50p off a litre. Only bought things I use and got £5 off from last week. The fuel tokens obtained today have to be used by 11 August.

In our tescos they had a shelf on the first row with all the items you need to buy to get the 10p off. In the normal aisles there were no £7 jars of Nescafe or the refills so if its not on the normal shelf, have a look at the promo shelf.

I also tried jtd twice. Once with my normal shop when I only managed to get 2 x10p of a litre and then I sat down had a cuppa in tesco and decided to go for all 5 so I bought the remaining stuff I needed to get 30p of a litre and then made sure I bought the remaining 8 items for the JTD (just the difference which is like asda & sainsburys price promise).

I'm hooked now on JTD so will be reading that thread too.

Thanks for all the help on here. You've been really patient and explained it for all us newbies to JTD and fuel deals - keep up the good work

Has anyone actually received the petrol vouchers when shopping online?

I needed beans and bog-roll anyway so did this offer, but no vouchers came with my shopping and when I phoned up customer services I was told that they had no vouchers in the store and that they'd mail me some when they got them....nothing so far!

You should have got blue/red glossy type vouchers with your order stapled to the receipt.

I am due an online delivery this evening, expecting 5 vouchers.

yes - watch your flavours though they don't all price match. Orange no added sugar and Applea and blackcurrant nas both do, but lemon doesn't

    Had my delivery last night.
Bought items to get the 5 vouchers +1 meal deal to get it over £50
Total cost of products pre-promototions= £60.56
    Service charge =£3:50
    Promotion Savings = -£8:56
Coupons = £10 "first time order with code"

    Total £45.50

Quidco tracking at £5 so poss £40:50
Coffee into work for kitty= - £16 and mother paid for toilets rolls = -£10 so looking at £14:40 for balance of order

And probably about £30 saved in fuel "Result"
    Thankyou MSE:T

What are the current "expiry" dates on the vouchers? Would use some of the items in the offer BUT only worth it if I can maximise the amount of fuel I fill up with.

    Hi
I did this yesterday and the petrol voucher lasted 14 days.

I think today is the last day though to get a voucher.
