One for each of these products. Up to 5 per transaction
http://www.tesco.com/groceries/zones/default.aspx?name=petrol-promotion&icid=mktmsgI love this site and all chums, but its making a dent in my bank account!!!
Have lots of things I want, but dont necessarily need... Must DO BETTER!!! :A0 -
I also did it with 8 packs of andrex for £40 and a Wys £5 voucher = 4 petrol vouchers but no JTD I think.0
-
What would be the best thing to buy here? I have found myself buying many batches of 5 nescafe jars and a shed load of juice at £35 to save £50! (Without buying 7 other items)
I didnt realise the JTD was still on as tesco are not advertising it (unlike ASDA)
I run a Haulage business and take full advantage of these offers every time as we use 6000 LITRES A WEEK of diesel!
I need to take the following into account
1) Least possible price (After JTD Vouchers) - Any chance of a "Shopping list" for everyone to use
2) Resale value - if any (Who is going to use 3000 jars of coffee???)
I would have bought the vouchers from fleabay but people there are wanting £4+ for a voucher and for an extra £3 (Possibly less with JTD) I can have something to show for it.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Buy 5 Nescaf! Gold Blend refills at £8 = £40 at Tesco
Use £5 wys £40
Recieve 5 x 10p petrol tokens worth £30 for me ie 60 litres
..... And hopefully get £5 JTD (make you buy 7 other small value items).

7 coffee @ Tesco £7.00 x 7 = £49.00
Tesco cap the JTD amount to £10.00 so doing a shop with 7 coffee in one go isn't very good. As the price difference between Tesco and Sainsbury's = £15.54 but Tesco will only give you a max of £10.00 back.
Why do you only get 5 vouchers if you are buying 7 coffee?
Sorry I meant 5 coffees.
Coffee is £7 .
I dont know where my head is:)0 -

Kev
I got 5 jars of Nescafe and 7 other low value single items (1 onion, 1 potato, 1 mushroom, 1 lemon, 1 value noodles, 1 banana, 1 carrot - sum total less than £1) for the price check requirements in a single transaction. I got a £10 price check coupon within 24hrs - so the 5 Nescafe jars cost me £25.
The coupons are valid for 2 weeks from the transaction date. So, according to the figures you have provided:
In 1 week, you use - 6000ltrs
In 2 weeks, you use - 12000ltrs
Each fill-up (100ltrs) uses 5 x 10p fuel vouchers
120 fill-ups (100ltrs each) needs - 600 x 10p vouchers
So, you need to purchase 600 jars of Nescafe (not 3000) in 120 separate transactions (5 jars+7 low value items for £10 JTD) on/before 1 Aug 2012 to fully benefit from this offer.
You would be getting all the 600 jars of coffee for free plus £3000 off your fuel fill. I'm sure you can shift all the coffee if you get in touch with a few local independent grocery, small wholesalers, corner shops, etc. and offer them a massive discount, say £1000 for all the 600 jars.
I would keep it simple and just stick with coffee because of the long shelf life(so you have enough time to shift the 600 jars!).
Another thing you need to take into account is the £1200 worth of price check coupons that you would need to use within 28 days from the date of issue. Keep the receipts as you need to produce them when using the coupons. You could sell them on to your employees, friends, etc. if needed.
Hope this helps.0 -
OK, you're probably all sick of people asking for the best way to do this, but I have a seriously mentally challenged baby brain at the minute and am honestly in awe of all your mathematical tesco swindling skills.
The only things we actually use from the list are the robinsons and the fairy. Correction, I use bucket loads of fairy and usually wait until this is on offer and do a mega stock and I'm currently running low. So I'm thinking fairy is best, but it is currently £14 a box working out at 19.4p/wash and the last time I stocked up my hoard worked out at 9.4p/wash...so if I buy 5 boxes that's an increase of £36 over the 360 washes...BUT I have a few vouchers I would like to use...can someone please tell me if this is a good way to do it or if I'm better off buying the squash and waiting for the fairy to come back down in price?
If I buy 5 x boxes of Fairy @ £14 each = £70
I have a till spit voucher for £9 off a £60 spend, a double points voucher and a new store voucher for 300 points when I spend over £40.
So my total bill would be £61 plus I'd get 422 clubcard points (worth up to £16.88 in rewards, I'm guessing the double voucher won't apply to the 300 but I'd be laughing if it did) so I'd be spending roughly £45 on 360 fairy washes (works out at 12.5p/wash) plus I'd get a £25 discount on my petrol....
Does this sound like the best use of my vouchers or is there a better way to do this?0 -
Can you use Tesco Price Promise to get more money off the things that are cheaper elsewhere?0
