  • Hi
just looking for a bit more moral support ,I got a ticket at the peel centre and have done as you have said and ignored all the letters ,however last week I had one from Roxburgh and now this week they have started calling me! I havent yet picked up a call as I was at work but have answer phone messages asking me to call them back ,I havent and dont intend to.Any words of wisdom I can throw at them if i answer them unsuspectingly!

Thanks for all previous help with this.
  • Tell them the debt is denied (and nothing else), they must then pass it back across the desk to the PPC.

I think Roxburgh are part of excel too, it's part of the game, and if you have a look on here, you'll probably findthe exact letter they sent.
They're not bailiffs, so they have no more power han if I asked you for money. To be a bailiff, the court needs to have asked you to pay up.

Whenever I spoke with anyone, I asked them if they could possibly just apply to the small claims court straight away, as I would have liked to deal with them that way, and that will e the only way you will communicate with them, through the court.
They won't bother, and even if they ever did, and even if they ever won (which they never have) it'd be a cheaper bill than they say you currently owe them.

Roxburghe are debt collectors. This means that they have the same legal powers to collect debts as you or I.

Not that this is actually a debt. Did you take out a loan and enter into a credit agreement with the car park owner?

Roxburghe are under investigation by the Office of Fair Trading, who are "minded to revoke their licence".

Roxburghe sometimes make even more of a nuisance of themselves than normal by telephoning some people. We suspect that they get the telephone numbers in the registered keepers’ information from the DVLA, if they’ve used any of the DVLA's online services.

The Roxburghe telephone calls are easily dealt with. Say, The alleged so-called debt is denied. You must now refer this matter back to your client. Any further communication on this matter will be regarded as harassment under terms of the Protection from Harassment Act 1997.

As it’s Roxburghe, also say, “I will also report you to the Office of Fair Trading, who are currently investigating you and are “minded to revoke” your licence.I'm sure that they'll appreciate being reminded of this.

Make a note of the date and time of the call.

The next and final stage will be a couple more letters from a solicitor, Graham White.

Graham White are the same people as Roxburghe. Compare the signatures on their letters. They are solicitors, but only because they pay a retired solicitor, Michael “not the brightest button ever sewn on the frock coat of justice” Sobell, to use his name.

Graham White are under investigation by the Solicitors Regulation Authority for threatening people with legal action they can't take.
The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life. :)

I do the same. Love telling the shop assistants, loads of them pass the info on to customers, re not paying for the threats.

I've said it before, I'd love to rent one of the shops across the way and put a big banner up, telling people not to bother.
  • Thank you all so much for your help and guidance ,I will look out for you bondy lad and say Hello next time I am around there!
    Really appreciate it everyone .

It's best if you start your own thread, as the one above is months old.
