Excel Parking Stockport

As suggested im opening my own thread regarding this issue.

I got a ticket at peel centre in stockport, Went into toys r us to get change for the machine came out and there was a ticket on the window so I asked one of the wardens why he put it on as I was getting change and he said we allow 10mins to get change and by his watch it was 11mins, he said that I can appeal against it and for me to goto the cabin to get an appeal form so in reply I said well ive not broken any laws and that its just a money making thing to which his reply was "yes it is". It says on the form if I pay before 14 days its £60 and if after 14 days it goes upto £100.

What should I do?

Ignore anything that comes through the mail. Play a little game and predict when the next one will arrive.

    Then enjoy the sunshine.

Ignore them - that's what you should do. You also need to post which PPC it is just the name and shame them.

  • Apparently they have still not changed the font size of the pay and display text as the courts requested so say if I do get taken to court by them do I stand a good chance of winning if I state this?

i take it you are having a laugh,, if i get taken to court??? oh yes you will, but the pope will get married first??? how dare you get a FAKE ticket on my patch without my permission, excell are nearly the biggest scammers in stockport at present, and yes, you are right, they refuse point blank to change the signage there, basically so they can continue, to SCAM unsuspecting motorists,,they are equalled by parking spy(parking eye really) who SCAM at aldi on newbridge lane,, but number one is across the road in b&m car park(their name escapes me at present) they are fleecing motorists right, left, and centre there.anyway back to my patch,,,a)read the stickies on what letters to expect,,e.g roxburghe (we have zero powers) debt collectors and the phoney solicitor ,,graham (i am not a real solicitor) white,,coincidentally they both share the same office and suprise suprise all are part of the SCAM,,so here is what to do,,,a)IGNORE,,b)IGNORE some more,,i was at the peel centre earlier this morning as i went for my eyes tested(honest) to se if i could read the signs??? i was informing unsuspecting motorists yet again about the scam, some as usual said thanks,, the others thought i was a nutcase??,,finally, apart from dont worry, beware of any pm,,s you may recieve as i know 100% that EXPELL patroll this website daily as we prevent them scamming many folk, they may try to trick you with a pm, so do not respond to anyone who has a very low post count ,,there you go jobs a real good un,,look out for me preaching to the public, you will know its me, because EXPELL staff stand well clear of me , as i am 3 times the size of them,,relax,,feet up, enjoy the olympics and when you run out of loo paper, this lot will have sent you plenty that you can use.

This is because the BPA (which thinks that it is mightier than the courts) has decreed that there is nothing wrong with those signs. It's pure coincidence that the owner of Excel sits on the board of the BPA.

I shall keep this thread open and updated and post all the usual stuff thats expected from them, If anything suspicious or not on the to watch out for list on here ill post for help.

Now that doesn't surprise me, seems they have it all planned out the way they want it.
