    Thanks Stephen

Looking forward to them calling me back thanx!
  • Today, my sister took a phone call from Roxburghe whilst I was in work. This is 1 day after receiving a letter from Rox saying they have taken over the debt from NGP for an unpaid PCN dating back to July. I'm not particularly bothered about the letters as I know the invoice is unenforcable and after reading this forum have not engaged in any form of communication with NCP or Rox. What does concern me however is the fact they have obtained my contact number from somewhere (I'm thinking it was the DVLA under this "reasonable cause" nonsense). Has anyone ever contacted the DVLA regarding this and had any joy? Can the DVLA be reported for violations of the DPA?

The DVLA have adamantly advised that they DO NOT give out phone numbers.

So I suspect that the debt collector has done a bit of a search on your name and found your phone number in another way (on credit records there is sometimes a phone number listed, I suspect it will be that).

Anyway it's easy to stop these calls in one go. Search this parking forum (not the entire MSE forum!) for the words 'Roxburghe phone calls' and you will find endless threads before yours all with the same advice on what to say.

Hint! I have just noticed that your question is already answered above - post #31 tells you and your sister what to say to get rid of these parasites. No discussion, phone down.

    :)
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
