have you thought about asking on freecycle, there always monitors being offered on my local oneNot a good day.
£166 on having the car fixed I know cheaper than a newer car.
£124 on buildings and contents insurance.
And still need to buy a monitor the one for the desktop died the other night. As that means husband can stop using my laptop.
Good job I am using a 0% card to spend on and the insurance was already saved for.

Hello! Have been lurking for a while, so high time I joined in! :hello:
Have managed not to spend anything today - other than my lunch at work, which was planned!0 -
I spent 40p on a chocolate bar to go with my coffee at work (they do free tea/coffee at breaktime but have to pay for choccie!) because it's Friday, I've had a rotten week (to me) and 40p on choccie is better than £40 on new shoes!
edited: just counted the loose change glass in the kitchen and that has nearly £5 in it

Hi did well on my spends today as instead of going for shoppping around lunchtime which means me and little one have a lunch out we went early today and had a 'morning tea' instead - biscuit for him (took his drink with me) and a cup of coffe for me - only £2.60 spend so £7.40 left in budget.
Also managed to keep within shopping budget - set £40 and only spent £32.63 :j
Finally took some lights back and got my money back as they were faulty so got £38 back on that and also a DVD I bought on impulse last week before I started this and hadnt watched so got £6.97 back on that too.
So all in all a good day - have a weeks shopping in, have had a coffee out as a treat and I am £9.74 better of Hope I have more weeks like this one.:rotfl:
Tomorrow will be a bit of a spend as taking the little one for a day out to spend some quality time together as I feel I have been spending less time with him lately (working extra days and getting the house ready for selling etc).0 -

Started with £100 to the courts for my Allocation Questionaire fee for claiming back bank charges, and went downhill from there throughout the day.
I stopped counting when it got to £200

Did a small shop, was planned but more than I wanted to spend due to DS going to GB baseball cadet trials this weekend and needing to take lunches/food for two days (he's staying overnight) - £46.35. Petrol for the car £40.27. That should last a week, including going to Upper Heyford to fetch him on Sunday afternoon.0
