Good morning everyone!
Today I am going for a no spend day. Got a really busy day ahead with work and then dog training, which means that I do not have any opportunity to spend money (good thing!). Hopefully this should carry on over the weekend.
Have a great day everyone.

Pay day today! Nice to see my net worth leap up again. Since June I am now roughly £8000 closer to zero net worth! Still, there's that £25,000 to go...
Managed to get a borked iPod mini on eBay for £22 which arrived this morning. I pretty much dismantled it as I was making my breakfast! Sounds as though it's the hard drive that's gebrochen, which is promising as that's exactly what I intend to replace.
I was mooting the idea of putting a 16gb drive in there, but at £130 it just doesn't seem economical (not when a new 30gb video ipod is £180!) so I've settled for a 8gb drive (£50) which is double the original capacity, so is bragworthy from a geek-project point of view as well as a moneysaving one!
While I'm in there I'm going to replace the battery, so will have a fully functioning 8gb ipod mini for £75, which is £100 less than a new 8gb Nano. Ok so no colour screen, but boohoo, less likely to put a mini through the washing machine.
If I decide to get a new ipod in the future, this set up would suit my sister or mum perfectly.
Will keep you all posted on how it turns out (if you're all not tremendously bored by now).Student Loan Company Ltd: 17,805 (2.8%) Overdraft: 500 (Interest free)
