Well, im great at not spending too much money but to make you all feel not so bad i thought i would share my £900 fine that came through the mail today for not sending PAYE for our company off 9 months ago!! At least they didn't send any reminders, just straight to the £900 penalty! (by the way the stupid company only has my OH as employer..grrr and he does the forms..thus penalty!)
So i think i have had to spend the most today and have nothing to show(worth more than my car!)

LOL @ annie! Oh the indignation!

Today I have spent £4.96 on:

Furniture polish (Minnie, LJ & Mozzie don't laugh)
A pot of Greek Salad & a duo pack on ciabatta bread which I bought for lunch. YES I bought a lunch!!!

However this is due to the fact that I am not at work today I have taken the day off to do various things, I have been working very hard all day and I wanted something special. So there. :p

I forgive you!!!!! To be honest(BIG confession time) my very fave food is not soup but Sandwiches!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My idea of perfection is soup and sandwiches. Which is kind of funny as I love cooking and make all sorts of elaborate food(cheap though!). I find cooking really relaxing and bake a lot as well. And despite all that Show me a butty(sandwich for posh southern types!!!!!)and some soup and I'm in heaven!!

CAFCGil, there are two types of tonsilitis - bacterial and viral. Can't remember which way round but one doesn't respond to anti-b's. The only thing that got rid of mine was Echinacia from the health food shop - often on sale at Holland & Barratt (other leading health food shops are available!)

    Catt xx

    Thanks hun,

I used to get it all the time when I was younger. It's viral if my history is anything to go by, which is the one that doesnt respond to anti-b's.

A point I raised with the locum who said since it had been a few years since my last KNOWN bout (I think he was moaning that I dont go to the docs often enough!) I couldnt know if it was viral or bacterial.
So play it safe he said, and go for anti-b's, if they dont do anything no harm done!

    Except to my pocket!!!!
I've already got some echineaca in many a form lolSo will dose up and toddle off to worky poos in the morning!

Still a no spender for me, havent left the house :)

annie.....sometimes the website times you out before you have finished your post (I discovered it does this too) and it's really annoying.

What you could do is one of two things:

    1. Type out your message in Word or "Notepad" then copy & paste it into a new post on the site

    or

    2. Before you press "Submit Reply" button, do a CTRL A (to highlight all your text that you have typed out) and then CTRL C (to copy that text) so that if you lose it/get timed out, all you need to do is paste it into the message box again and submit the reply again.

I do the second one all the time now!
