Good morning lovely DFWs
What a dark morning! Not a good start to the weekend and mine is a long one as I have today off
Meeting a friend in a couple of hours for fun and frivolities, including breakie, shopping and lunch. I have a feeling I will go over my budget
The good thing is though that she's a veggie so we can be veggie together for the day. LA and Mins - I'll be asking your help in coping with mineral replacement and meal ideas. I think I am tending towards vegdom....
Anyway, will update (and weep) spending laters. Have a great day and keep it low!
Moozie x
PS Rog good luck with the job hunting! Same to Catt of course (and me)!

Morning Moooooooooozie

OH gave me £2 as a treat today to grab some breakfast and lunch at work as we only had one bread bun left for dinners and he took it. Quite pleased until i saw it was a £2 coin... could i go hungry and starve all day just to save my precious coin?! im still debating on this one!!!
Said i would buy OH some home cinema speakers from a friend for £30 which is an amazing bargain so ill have to fork out for those.
But its budgeted so a NSD from my pocket money.... and thats only because i blew it all in boots yesterday

You are clearly a full blown MSE-er to think about the £2 so much :rotfl: Hope you come to the right decision for you! Just don't starve please, not good for the soul!
Glad you are having a NSD, of sorts :rotfl:Leason learnt :beer:0 -

I will be paying my 10p and 20p savings totalling £7.20 into deposit account today, at this rate I will have saved £300 by Xmas - I actually get disapointed when I dont get a 10p or 20p in my change.
I have also paid my council tax arrears, and will be chasing the for their charges.
Have a good day everyone, and Moozie have a great holiday.

Hi!:hello:
Dark and dull here too and after a 6am start with [STRIKE]devil [/STRIKE]dearest son, I've not done much more than lounge about. Am going to get myself in gear soon! Feel a flylady session coming on.
I hope to not spend much - have to pay for postage today (amazon) but that's all hopefully. A NSD hopefully. However I am going to use the tumble drier  and transfer £5 to the electric fund to cover it...should have been more organised and flylady like this week:rolleyes:
Am off away to OH's sis in laws this weekend and hopefully won't be spending much at all as she's said she'll cover most stuff
Usually I'd feel bad about someone doing this but she does earn £500 a day!!!
Hoping all are feeling happy today - I'm hoping for a good day dietwise as well as I've managed one day on the diet yesterday - a first since January!!:j
Hope you have a good long weekend Moozie and oooh a tough choice Ancasta!!:p Might have to start doing the £2 collection again - wonder what I could save for.... Can't face doing another debt saving pot! Saffronflowers - well done at the savings - that's great since Christmas! Sorry to hear about your council tax trouble. Vixtress - utterly fabulous going with your NSWeek! I don't think I could do it!

Big love to all of you this morning!
Relatively low spend day here, say £1 on roll and banana at lunch. May have (free) work drinks this evening but may skip them, rush home to OH and let him snore on the sofa whilst I work my !!! off doing AQA, haha.
Have a lovely day everyone xx0 -

Moozie - I should hope so, being a cow and all that! I am also trying hard to give up the meat. Am generally doing well, and I think it saves money, but sometimes I just can't help myself, and find I've put a steak in the fridge next to the Quorn sausages!
Today I'm taking a fiver in cash to the pub after work, and will be sure to spend as little of that as possible. Definitely no more Dairy Milk for me after yesterday's performance. My colleagues are quite horrified!Overpay!0 -
Well, need to post and ebay item (about £1 I think) but other than that it'll be an NSD.Pennies make pounds.
