Recently I purchased a Sony Xperia U for my wife. She is very happy after getting this phone as her gift. It's a perfect package of lots of functionalists at affordable price.

    do you work for sony?

Good question! No-one really knows (and those that do aint telling!) but my personal view is it may actually increase in price as my suspicion is Voddy are subsidising it at the mo. Time will tell.

Will probably go up much like the Nokia 710 did after being at £100 for a bit.

The display visibility is awful when outside.

    Is that your experience also?

The huawei is on sale at very, and if you are a first time buyer they have a £30 discount code 23EPW (off min £60 spend).

Also cashback sites do around 6% cashback too on first time very purchases, bringing the delivered price down to around just £67

Very are overpriced to begin with.

How can they be in this instance? Vodafone price is more than very, though the final price with very is much less if you use the code!

Sorry, I meant generally, not in relation to this deal though, I agree, but then the Huawei is not all that.

I'm neither recommending huawei nor very, just pointing out a money saving way to get this phone cheaper. (And your opinion of the phone isn't reflected in this thread anyway!!)

(But wonder why you bothered to post about very being "overpriced" - where is the relevance?)
