Thanks for the list Dusty. Really pleased to hear the good news about Ed.

Plan for this week is to continue the early starts. Drop the little ones at Friends house for them to take to tennis camp. I will collect all 4 kids at 4pm. Hopefully being home at 4.20 will leave me some time for flying!

There is a trip to the beach lined up for Wednesday with school friends. I really want to go but will have to work all day Friday to make up lost hours. DH has told me he has booked us a night away in Friday. We are leaving at 2pm! Wail!!!!

    Welcome Honey bear and J.E.J..

Just found a recipe to make creme de cassis so I shall harvest my blackcurrants tomorrow and give it a go. A nice recipe for blackcurrant cake too if there is any left after the Cassis :D

Openned a new savings account at Coventry, did one for Mum on Friday and shall be doing one for DS1 tomorrow too :D

DW empty, need to set the WM with the towels in it and then bedtime I think for a little reading.

    Thanks Dusty!!

I'm in again this week but priority has to be my accounts as I have to get last years earnings in to the TC peeps

I also need to get the stuff to sell sorted. I've moved the contents of my wardrobe into DDs room so I can stack all the "to-do" boxes in that alcove...and the pile is taller than me and I'm 5ft 6" Other boxes are in 2 separate piles, listed and photographed but not listed. I found DD's old violin, I thought it was damaged and was going to list it as "spares", but upon opening the case and disposing of the rank resin in there I discovered that the violin itself is actually in pretty good condition :D

Editing the list to suit us as you can't swing a cat (or even probably a mouse really) in our hall/landing so they get done en route from the bedrooms to downstairs when I vacuum upstairs ;)

    This week:
Wed : Shops with DD for start of uniform, Work - evening
Fri : Possible ex-ils dropping in, possible sleepover for DD's friend
Sat - no ex here, must remember ;)

    Dailies :
    Dishes
    make beds
    HHT(idy) before bed
List 1 box of stuff to sell (19 boxes in total 3 listed so far)
HH Physio x 4 for DD (including laps on her crutches - I will get her out of the wheelchair for going to the local shops!)
Personal accounts (1 statement month a day)

    Monday - Bathroom
    Level one
    Clean the sink and toilet
    Level two
    Hoover
    Wash the floor
    Clean bath
    Level three
[STRIKE] Wash any winter coats[/STRIKE] Sort out coats under the stairs
Wipe the tiles and window ledges
    HHI

    DD's jobs:
    Deal with clean laundry
De-button rag bag stuff (buttons to be used for decoration on her camp blanket for guides ;))
    Tidy bedroom

I'm off for HH me time.:D
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!
  • Thank you for the list, count me in please, the next 6 weeks will be chaos, these cleaning lists will really help keep a little bit of order while my three kids attempt to trash the place.

Is it okay if I join this week?

Stumbled across the thread last week, I am a (mature) student and so have the summer off, and really need to sort out all the house and years worth of junk. I followed the thread last week and it really helped me to get motivated.

I have set myself a target that by the end of the summer I will have the house sorted (finally!) and DS bedroom re-decorated ( he has just turned 13 and still has rocket wallpaper! The shame, bless him) so am hoping weekly flyday will keep me on track.

    Morning All

Can't decide whether to start in the bathroom or in DD's bedroom. All the house needs doing at some point anyway but I need to get any tombola stuff together too so I'm thinking the bedrooms might be a good starting point.

I need a bath too - not sure whether to start my day with one or have one this afternoon before Beavers.

    Have a good day all
