Check any deals with Quidco.Don't lie, thieve, cheat or steal. The Government do not like the competition.

I'm sorry, I don't apologise. That's just the way I am. Homer (Simpson)0 -
Definitely check Quidco and see which deals are going at the moment, and also to check with the providers beforehand to make sure you can get them in your areaCurrently in a Protected Trust Deed - 23 payments until DEBT FREE - February 20270

Broadband is exchange-specific, so there is no universal 'best'. Start with an exchange search on www.samknows.com for your available LLU providers.
Why restrict your options to those who provide 'free' AV products, when there are many good AV products that you can get yourself for nothing-for example Avast, Avira or MSE?
The ones included are frequently poor products such as McAfee. No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

Its just the free ones that you can download are actually quite rubbish because they have limited features:mad::mad:Dylan:j:j:rotfl::T:D

Microsoft Security Essentials is free. You need nothing more than this.
I've used it for ages with no problems.0 -

Dont worry about getting anti virus, the best Anti virus are free anyway and not ones that come bundles from ISPs.
I recommend Avast Free Editionfor both beginners and advanced users it is very customisable and free forever just when it comes to renewal click free again.
Always aim for internet providers with the lowest price including line rental so you don't get stung on that,
As for 'unlimited browsing' offers, this is where they pray on the non-techys. Browsing the internet uses such a small amount of data I am yet to see any capped package that you would go over it.
Services like lovefilm bump this up a bit but not as much as you woudl expect, so maybe a middle package.
You only want unlimited if you like to download a lot of large files (movies, entire tv series, etc not including streaming sites like lovefilm) then you want one withought download caps or you will go over and hit charges.
If you only ever play on facebook and browse the net and get the odd mp3, or the odd video don't worry about limits you will never go over so you should be able to get a really cheap deal.
I am on the lookout myself I hear talktalk have good deals at the moment, but can't vouch for it yet.
O2 are really good if you can get a deal out of them as I got the first 6months for line rental only, free Xbox 12month card and xbox points, but now its back to full price its just sky rocketted the cost up and up seems like every month, so go with them if they have good deals but be prepared to switch after a year.
O2s top package is truly unlimited, but as I said unless you like to download 50+ tv shows a month you probs don't need that.
I think they offer some security software too, but I never trust things like that because they are just tacky add ons equivalent of a 'free pen' to look good in promotions and the best software is always freeware anyway.
Good luck
Saving for a year in Japan.
I need around £10,000. Help me get there! :cool:0 -

The free ones will do a farrrrrr better job than the supplied McAfee.
I actually bought McAfee some years back to clear an infection, it didnt and slung it back the next day. Swapped for Norton and then couldnt do anything until totally uninstalled, way too slow.
Downloaded various but chose the eset one and cleared what above paid for ones didnt.
I must admit i migrated to BT some months back and never attempted to load in that dreaded cd with McAfee on, i ride bare back.0
