Moving in together, but is it love?

Would you move in with someone and take on their children and make commitments like getting a dog together if you didn't love them?

I wouldn't - but it's not about us us it?

    Why do you ask?
If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.

I think it would be different if there weren't kids involved - if things go pear shaped it's not fair on them to be put through that.

I think if you know from the start there is no love then you're setting yourself up for a fail.

I wouldn't do what the OP asks if I didn't love the person, but unfortunately many people would. I don't think you can make assumptions about someone's feelings from their actions in this kind of scenario.

I have a feeling that the question in the OP is really, "Does this mean it's love?" and the answer to that is, "Not necessarily - and particularly not if the person in question won't discuss love,".

Sorry if it's not what you want to hear, OP.

OP you obviously know the answer and are just looking confirmation from others. So here it is "Are you nuts?" ;)

No. You might find someone that you do love and then you will cause a lot of hurt extracting yourself from that situation, not to mention financial aggravation. It would be madness.

If you want to do it because you think that means love...well that's up to you, but you still need to be sure that IS what love means to you, not do it because you think that is what people in love do.

I would look deeper than those two actions. Im pretty sure you both know what you want at this stage.

No, it would be incredibly cruel - unless you're upfront about it and the other person is hapy with it. Where kids are involved, it's vital you're as sure as you can be that the relationship is going to last.
