Phones4u - Looking for Advice

Hi People.

I took out a contract with Vodafone through phone's for you yesterday. They advised me that according to Vodafone's signal test my area was excellent and I'd get signal inside and out. I've now had the phone for just under 24 hours and whever I go to use it inside the signal dies.

According to the paperwork I can return the phone and cancel the contract if signal is deemed 'poor' by myself and the network agrees.

Has anyone done something like this before with Phones4u and can anyone see any problems I'm likely to run into?

Thanks

vodafone weren't bothered and but phones4u were a pain! turns out the vodafone signal test online is out of date or incorrect, showed as excellent in my area, when i spoke to vodafone technical support, they ran a test a told me my area was real bad! Oh well, all done and dusted now.

Vodafone have a 7 day cooling off period, take it back.
Our cooling off period is within the first seven days of taking out a contract.

The contract is through P4u, Vodafone's policies are meaningless here. You may dind they'll say if the SIM has been used to 'customise' the phone, they'll not take it back. You need to be firm and demand to take it up with the manager.

Always, always check the coverage yourself using a PAYG SIM before you sign up for anything.
