One need to be careful when using card and online. If not sure use pre paid card.
Hacks happen to all companies Sony website for Ps, banks, even the card companies them self have beef hacked leading to unauthorised transaction.
If you search google checkout fraud you will see many reported problems.

Better yet, type itunes hacked, and you get a page full of articles

According to his favourite google search, itunes fraud is definitely more common than fraud from other sites. But as usual, as iTunes is linked to Apple, the problem is played down yet again.

I've never had a problem with it, nor has anyone else I know who uses iTunes (which is a lot of people).

Even on this website alone, there is quite a few people who got fraud on iTunes, including me.

Fraud is a potential issue with any online transactions. Itunes has millions and millions of users, so its a numbers game - far more likely there will be instances of fraud there than a site where say there are only a few hundred users. Had an itunes account for years now, no problem, but am very vigilant about transactions.

xbox live, good example why not to
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

I agree. The hack or fraud can happen to any online account it is based on the % of its users. If you search for amazon or PayPal like itune you will have many searches due to high use, not because it is unsafe in compare to google paymen. In all cases your credit card is protected so I would not worry too much about this but if others want to use the pre paid cards I don't see any problem.
