The ultrasonic cat scarer I've just installed in my garden is giving me untold joy. No more dirty protests and amusingly confused cats ;)

As someone who rarely goes out we have a child-free weekend and had plans for all three evenings

Friday started with a works leaving do in a trendy bar where DH was gobsmacked that it cost him £2 to take a pee because the toilet attendant washed and dried his hands for him  followed by going to see DH's brother's new band.

Last night was a family party in a football club which was rockin' (DH's extended family always throw a good party) but we had to leave relatively early as we were all in one car and my inlaws were getting tired.

Tonight DH has a gig but I only found out last night they're not on until 10.45pm but need to sound check at 5pm and I don't want to sit around there all evening so I'm opting to go up later by train but I think I may have conjunctivitis so that may put the kybosh on that :(

    :(

I can understand the need but please tell me you've set the range so it doesn't overlap any gardens where the owners have cats?

Aww, poor cats! I hope it doesn't hurt them?

Has anyone tried the ultrasonic spider and bug scarers that you use in the house? Apparently it drives the bugs out the walls.... and then what? Into the room itself?

No, it's harmless - just an annoying noise that makes them not want to hang around! It's only triggered if they walk right in front of it. Don't worry, it doesn't extend to our neighbours' gardens, we checked. The cats are now merrily pooing in their owners' gardens ;)

    :)

    Festivals - bah humbug ;)

If you like appliances, this would give you great happiness! Very niche job, but it does it perfectly. You end up with peeled, cored and sliced apples in one go. It's even sliced into one big long spiral! It makes me happy. :)

I know it looks like a torture tool, but it's great fun. See this video:

I wish my cat would poop in neighbours gardens instead of mine:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::eek:

We could do with one of these. Next door has 4 cats which prefer our side of the fence
