Rebecca Adlington, speaking to BBC Radio 5 live: "I knew not to write anybody off for this race. But I think maybe the pressure got to me. I'm normally pretty strong on the back 50, but I didn't have anything left. I gave it absolutely everything. Everyone expected me to win tonight. I've had to take myself off Twitter the past day because it's so hard with all the pressure. But I hope I've not disappointed anyone."

I'm the same, I only switch my TV on when adding movies to the library of my Apple TV.

I keep hoping I'll find someone to curl up on the sofa with to watch the 285 movies and 1,000 TV episodes that I've got.:rotfl::rotfl:

I'd be more than happy never to see another movie in my life, o/h loves films, I send him into the other room :D

Isn't it a shame that when they get to the top everyone wants to nock them down, hopefully it hasn't taken the shine off her achievements too much.

Crocs rule:T If we had a warmer climate in winter I would wear them all year. I have a pair of the thong crocs too, they are the first pair of thongs I have been able to wear, soo comfy.

Hubby wears black crocs around the house, short trips and out the garden in the summer, he is a convert now too.

    You should try them HC.

Thanks QOC it took a bit of time to get use to this and all the worry that i might have gave it to my family but i now realise that they are ok ( no coughing ) etc and have only looked at one site for the facts which has given more peace of mind http://www.thetruthabouttb.org/treating-tb/about-the-treatment
As we all know in here there are people with worse than me out there so i can sit and be thankfull that i can get treated and still have a life :)

Hope you are soon recovered....your last sentence is wonderful, very unselfish of you...xxx

i agree completely. The girl did well and clearly was outclassed by a 15 year old who blew them out of the water. This is the age at which swimmers reach their peak and RA is getting on. A bronze, at that level, is excellent. Well done RA :T
I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.
