    HC (or other clever soul),

I need your helpful advice please...

Norton 360 expired yesterday and I've had a merry 2 hours trying to renew and I've given up. I need to protect the sprogs on the lappy. I an still receiving notifications though so the norton family online is still running. Weird.

Is there something free and reliable that we can use on the last instead of norton 360?

    Cheers

    :)

The Norton firewall will still be active and it's virus definitions for protection will still be there so you will be protected for the viruses that Norton has been updated for before it expired so you are still protected to some degree. What you won't be protected against are any new viruses that may attack your computer because Norton won't have been updated to recognise them to stop attacks.

Free, I can't remember what people were recommending on here the other day but as for paid, I'd go down the Kaspersky route but make sure you download the Norton tool from their website so you can strip Norton off your system first. Norton is worse than AOL and it gets everywhere!:(

Just has a pork chop with salad it was very nice but my mouth got bored just under half way thru, today when I picked up my Click & Collect there was no petrol coupon, the girl said they had run out and I needed to go to CS, CS told me they don't keep the coupons and I needed to go back to C&C went back there and the delivery van driver had just pulled up, he handed me 5 petrol vouchers :D

Nice one! I'm really enjoying the pork meals at the moment. I'm also due a pile of the 10p vouchers when my FIL gets some from SIL and sends them up. If I have any spare, I shall send out to those recycling ;)
I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

i wanted to wait until i saw you around to comment....

In the grand scheme of it, TB is ok. TB is treatable and while the short term effects are the ones that will hurt you (the not hugging your family, the OCD about cutlery and stuff like that), you will get past it.

TB was almost eradicated completely in this country. There has been a quite shocking rise in confirmed cases. We have had quite a few here

Hope the treatment starts soon for you :)

Thanks QOC it took a bit of time to get use to this and all the worry that i might have gave it to my family but i now realise that they are ok ( no coughing ) etc and have only looked at one site for the facts which has given more peace of mind http://www.thetruthabouttb.org/treating-tb/about-the-treatment
As we all know in here there are people with worse than me out there so i can sit and be thankfull that i can get treated and still have a life :)
