I usually get the sandal type with the adjustable straps, very comfy.

In the winter I get ankle boots from Evans in a wide fit.

These are my faves at the moment, croc capri, only fliflop type I have ever been able to wear. Don't drive well in them as they have the balance curved bottoms - but to be honest I don't drive well in anything.

These are the ones that I liked.

  • Evening all

Haven't been on since my post this morning.
After saying I wasn't very good at dealing with other people being sick I am now 160 miles from home  :(:o Couldn't handle OH's son on the couch with a bucket throwing up so DD and I are now at my parents house for a couple of days.
I don't know if it's even possible to have a fear of other people being sick, but that's what I seem to have. Managed to get myself in a right old state, think OH was a bit peed off at first until he realised how upset I was. It's something I've managed to 'hide' so to speak.
Anyways, now I've got that off my chest :o I'll skip back 20 odd pages and catch up and see what I've missed.

Got invited into the T's Cookie Bzz Campaign as well :)

Lol, I have big wide feet with a high instep, so nothing dainty fits me anymore. Crocs and flyflots are my salvation, I tried fitflops but cant get on with them.

Same here - took me two weeks to find a pair of sandals! I actually ended up in Shoe Zone and got some that fitted, though not quite high enough instep!

Slightly annoyed with Sports Direct. The only trainers that "really" fit me are Reebok (used to get those for about £15 some time ago) and Fila. They have just stopped doing Fila, and Reebok are now hideously priced! I have however found that the "England" ones that are currently £9 in my size actually fit, not quite high enough on the instep but should be OK once worn in.

And I know I should not live in trainers, but I am sick of trying to find proper shoes that fit and feel comfortable, and I need trainers for cycling and for helping my OH out with his work!!

AND I WILL NEVER WEAR CROCS!

    Hi all,

Just a quick drop in to say hello and thanks for all the well wishes on DS2s birth :)

Haven't switched the laptop on for a several days so have zero clue as to what is going on at the moment. Little opportunity to get to the supermarket either though so doesn't realy matter at the moment. Am preferring sleep over a trip to Ts for the time being :p Hope everyone is well though.

Harry will be 2 weeks old tomorrow and is doing pretty well. He never lost any weight and had gained almost a pound by 11 days old  The health visitor says I must make gold top milk :rotfl:

I'm finally feeling a bit more like myself. Have really been struggling with the baby blues. I had them pretty badly with DS1 but still wasn't prepared for feeling so down again when you expect to be so happy. Think I'm coming out of the other side now.

Well, better be off. Will pop back when I have a few minutes. Happy glitching x
