:mad: I picked up two packets of everyday value scones yesterday. Eaten nearly one packet, was just about to open the second today only to see the best before on it is 21st July!!:mad: the packet which is nearly empty was the 28th July....

it shouldn't even be on the shop floor if it's best before the 21st on the 22nd:mad::mad:

Can I ask how you used 2 conditional spends in one transaction please? I had two recently, one for a £40 spend and one for a £30 spend. I di dthe £40 first and no problem but computer said no on the £30 one. I was told you can only use one condtional spend or you'd end up getting your shopping for free. I tried to find where it said you couldn't use two but from what I could see it seemed like you couldn't use the likes of £2 off £20 clothing.

Was I fobbed off or am I reading your post wrong?

I had an interesting experience recently- I had 2 2 off £20 cc mailings (£2 off and £3 off) from my own and OH's accounts. I figured I would give it a try on a £23 spend and see if the second one still works, but in the end my total spend was £21 odds and it still worked!
    Worth a try!
  • Sorry for all the posts. Trying to catch up :o
You have to make sure that the amount left owing is the amount on the conditional spend, if you have an X off £30 and an X of £40 you give the X off £40 first and then the X off £30 IYSWIM.

I have never had a problem using two, planning on using a £6 off £40 and a £2 off £20 together later in the week, giving me £8 off £40!

Was this in Sainsbobs or Ts? Sains seem very strict with coupons. I tried the L'oreal ones a couple of weeks ago on shampoo that was on offer. One coupon scanned but the 2nd was refused. Fast forward to yesterday and very similar coupons for Cravendale worked. I would have thought that as long as you meet the criteria you should be able to use them. The woman told me if you used more than 1 you'd get your shopping for free. Couldn't be bothered trying to explain that it would be impossible as you have to meet the minimum spend each time.

Thank you. That would explain it. I thought I'd missed a trick or something.

    This was in Ts.

The new Sainsbobs hasn't got these mags though :( although I haven't been in for a few days so they might have now.

Forgot to say got Dr Oetker pizza salami & pepperoni x7 on saturday used mocs in both mags ( 7 x £1 & 2 £1 off when you spend £7 on frozen food) they compared so free :j:j:T:T

For the people asking about the pizza , I work it out at this

    T - 7 x £2 = £14 - 7 - 2 = £5

    M - 7 x £1.25 = £8.75

    jtd £5.25 so 25p profit*

Although the 2 x £1 off wys £7 is no longer valid, so they would cost 25p each

    Been away for 2 weeks.

About 500 pages and a new thread in that time!!

Time to skip me thinks !

In short, are there any on-going glitches (or anything else) that I can start to look for.

    TIA

I liberated a few ;) cello mags in T's this morning.
I noticed the cello is not sealed very well so it might be worth a rummage at the bottom of the cardboard stand for febreze booklets which have wriggled free :)
