Was I fobbed off or am I reading your post wrong?
You have to make sure that the amount left owing is the amount on the conditional spend, if you have an X off £30 and an X of £40 you give the X off £40 first and then the X off £30 IYSWIM.
I have never had a problem using two, planning on using a £6 off £40 and a £2 off £20 together later in the week, giving me £8 off £40!What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
:mad: I picked up two packets of everyday value scones yesterday. Eaten nearly one packet, was just about to open the second today only to see the best before on it is 21st July!!:mad: the packet which is nearly empty was the 28th July....
it shouldn't even be on the shop floor if it's best before the 21st on the 22nd:mad::mad:
serves me right for not looking really:o:o0 -

I used them in 2 separate transactions, was me typing quick whilst sorting out rotas this am, I was trying to assure the OP that using conditional spends didn't jeopardise a B.M0 -

I emailed Sainsbobs CS to ask about how many coupons I could use per shop if I purchased the products as I was refused last week on the beer . This is the reply
Thanks for your reply with the information my colleague requested.
I’ve called the store and spoken with the Deputy Manager for our store, about your experience with the coupons. He advised me that as long as the coupon corresponds to the item in question you should be able to use it in store. Coupons can only be redeemed against the particular item the coupon is for and can’t be used for other products. If you have multiple valid coupons for the same item, you can use one for one product and the second for a second product providing all other terms and conditions are met.
I have removed some names , but am thinking do I give it another go armed with this email.
I don't get why some stores are a law unto themselves and some take the coupons without question. It smacks of Toscoism
Catching up here. For Pattylabelle I gave f'side a try yesterday and was royally trouted as soon as the guy saw a couple of packs of beer & shandy in the trolley. I was told that the coupons said "one per transaction" which really got my back up as they don't. I knew this store had changed their policy on these coupons but lying is downright pathetic in my book. Still managed to do a couple of transactions of 1 beer, 1 shandy and 1 bottle of voddie which was my plan all along anyway. The sour faced aul bloke on the till tried telling me that I wouldn't get a BM as I'd spent less than £20 because of the coupons. Soon wiped the smirk off his face when one popped out but all very nicely done
On a positive not, I managed some Cravendale using both the in-store MOC and the Thomas Cook one so £1 for 2x2ltNo one can make you feel inferior without your consent ~ Eleanor Roosevelt0 -
Beer is this (Hope you understand it:o)
In S's their is a mag with icecreams on the front,it's called "Sainsburys everyday easy" and it's free.
On page 31 their is a coupon for £1.50 off a bottle 4 pack of Bavaria beer which is £3 in S's. Buy 7 of them and it compares with T's who currently have it at £1.50. So you will get a BM for £10. Repeat use the £10BM and 7 coupons and it will cost you 50p, then just repeat again, so each time costing you 50p for 7 packs (28 bottles):T:T:T
Sounds complicated and I know someone else can explain it far better but its easy once you've done it the first time and it also works with the shandy;)
Gemini Jes welcome back!:j
The new Sainsbobs hasn't got these mags thoughalthough I haven't been in for a few days so they might have now.
