To be fair I've been feelin well ropey lately and just felt a bit manic last night and had a laugh. I enjoyed it and it did lift my spirits.
Looks like most had a giggle reading it too.
I'm glad you're feeling a bit better now:TIt really made me laugh as I was reading it this morning:rotfl:Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -
Not checked if this has been posted, so apologies if it has,
Might help anyone doing a shop in tesco comparing to asda?
Anchor real dairy cream, £1.25 in tesco but 50p in asda. Theres a 30p off coupon in the new tesco real food magazine, plus if you 'like' the anchor FB page you get a 50p voucher there (can print twice) so if ive got this one right, theres 30p profit? (£1.25 -30p, -50p, -75p from pp?)
No idea why thats in bold?! (its not that I think its really important :rotfl:)
This is the cream..

ok, I have been debating for a while whether to ask this... but you're all so helpful I am praying that someone will have some fantastic suggestion....

Basically I volunteer for an animal rescue who rely on donations and fundraising. It's been going since 2003 and we've always done well.
However, recently donations have become less and less and things are now at a critical point
The lady (now my friend) who owns the rescue has done all she can and I've done my best to support her with thinking of ways to raise money etc and sending her my tesco goodies
my friend always puts the animals first and often goes without so I send these things her way, and try and donate to the rescue when I can, but it's not enough anymore and things are very bad
So.... I was wondering, does anyone have any ideas on ways to raise some much needed cash? Or are there any secret millionaires out there that would care to sponsor us!? :rotfl:
Start off doing a carboot sale often the organiser will wavier the pitch cost for a charity, have donation buckets as well as selling stuff, maybe have 1 or 2 of the animals there too, also give out leaflets explaining what you do, it may not bring in a fortune but you may well get a few hundred and raise awareness
Ask on freecycle for bootsale items explaining what you are doing

But its better than free it gives you £3.50 hence me only paying 17p for all the other items
